On 6 May 1630 John married Margret Wallis at St. Peters Church, Northampton. They went on to have at least six children christened in Brington, as listed above. As can be seen it appears that the couple tried on at least three occasions to have a John Wafforn live to adulthood. Their first known son was named John in 1634 but he had died by 1639. Their next son born after this was named John in 1645 but I assume he also died as in 1649 they name a third son John. They were finally successful as he lived to the ripe old age of 73.

John Wafforn died after 1674, probably in Budbrooke.
