BIOGRAPHY:
Damaris Wills was christened on 9 January 1654 in Long Buckby. She was the third known child to William and Alice Wills; her older brothers being William and John. Her brother, William, had died before Damaris was born and Damaris's mother, Alice, died when Damaris was only six.

On 26 May 1677 Damaris married John Wafforn in Harlestone. They went on to have at least seven children, as listed above. The locations of these christenings suggest the couple lived in Budbrooke in 1678 but by 1682 had moved to nearby Cold Higham. At least one of their children didn't survive to adulthood as Mary Wafforn died on 28 September 1683, only nine months after she was christened.

Damaris's husband, John Wafforn, died on 27 November 1722, aged approximately 73. Damaris was buried fifteen years later in Welton on 16 November 1737. She was approximately eighty-three years old.
