How did you get involved: I saw a Mountain Dew commercial with street lugers on it when I was like 10, and I new it was the coolest thing ever. Then, right before I watched the Gravity Games (didn't have cable at the time) I decided it was time. So I searched through websites and gathered all the info I needed, and I built my first board, which I still use today. I started out slow, and I got progessively faster, and better. I soon hope to start competing.
What's the most important advice you can give to new lugers: Buy The Streetluge Survival Guide, it'll be the best $15 bucks you'll ever spend in this sport. Get it before you start riding, it will pay off big time.
