About Misao:
Misao is the only grandchild of the okashira of Onibawanshu
before Aoshi (not Okina since he was never okashira
of Onibawanshu). Anyway, it was Okina and Aoshi who
took care of her. Besides them, she has a close link
with Hanya. When she was about 8 years old, Aoshi left
her to Okina because he had to go to Edo and that it
might be dangerous.
When she had grown up, she searched for Aoshi and
the Oniwabanshu. she started searching in Tokyo but
to no avail. She didn't have enough money to get back
to Kyoto so she robbed the money that some thieves just
robbed (confusing eh?). On that search she met Kenshin.
She had a fight with him about the future of the money
but ended up Kenshin's way, they returned it to the
place where it was first stolen. When Kenshin said something
about Aoshi, she followed him and kept on asking about
the whereabouts of Aoshi but Kenshin declined to say
anything. In Kyoto a month later, she witnessed Aoshi
nearly kill Okina. From there she proclaimed that she
is the new leader of the Oniwabanshuu and that Aoshi
is now an enemy. Even after what had happened, she couldn't
stop her feelings for Aoshi. Well, Misao is perhaps
the most stubborn character in RK. She sometimes (or
most of the time) doesn't act femininely and is always
loud but fun.
