Dear A N: You're absolutely right. Save your money. Legitimate agents don't charge fees. Agents earn commissions when your work earns money. Copyright your work! Don't pay fees anywhere except to the Library of Congress Copyright Office, and postage there. Why hire someone to do what you can do yourself? Library books have their publishers' names in them and you can go from there, besides a lawyer to negotiate your contract.

Dear D F: Keep It Simple! There's no substitute for good content about your site's theme. Bells and whistles mean nothing if your site won't load or navigate. Good luck! Anybody out there needs offsite web work?
