05/29/01 - YTV will show the final episode of Sailor Moon R "Follow the Leader" on Wednesday, May 30th. On Thursday, May 31 YTV will begin to show Sailor Moon S on a week day basis. So for those Canadians who missed it the first time, here's your chance to catch up, set your VCR's to tape Sailor Moon S at 12:00pm E/PT, Monday to Friday. In other scheduling news, the Sunday at 1:30pm timeslot of Sailor Moon on YTV will be preempted this Sunday but should return next Sunday. As for the Cartoon Network, the network has confirmed that they will show all 3 Sailor Moon movies (R, S and SuperS) but has not set a date as yet. Also new pictures are on the Sailor Moon Pictures and Sounds Page 2.

05/23/01 - Fans of the original Japanese music of Sailor Moon will be happy to know that I'm now featuring a different song of the original Sailor Moon Japanese series each week on the Extras page. This week the song is the full version Intro song to Sailor Stars, this is a must hear! I've also added a new picture today to the Pictures and Sounds Page 2. The episode guide has also been updated with all the Sailor Moon SuperS episodes listed, the episodes in italics are episodes which have not been shown yet by YTV.

05/12/01 - Some more good news for Canadian Sailor Moon fans, it looks like YTV is planning to air the entire series of Sailor Moon SuperS and not stop midway through the series like they did with Dragon Ball Z. According to the episode guide on the Sailor Moon YTV page, YTV has listed all the episodes of Sailor Moon SuperS which usually means they are planning to show all those episodes. Although I did catch one thing while scrolling through the list, it looks like YTV is missing episode # 133, "Clothes Call". This episode could have easily been over looked by YTV when typing the episode guide, or they may not want to air it for some reason. I will look into finding the answer for that one. As for site updates I have started a Sailor Moon News Archive Page for older news. I have also added some nice pictures to the Sailor Moon Pictures and Sounds Page 2 today and changed the clip of the week on the Extras page, check it out!

05/08/01 - Some good news today for Canadians, on Saturday, May 19th, 2001, YTV will air 3 new episodes (new for Canadians) of Sailor Moon SuperS. The first 2 episodes will air at 11:00am and 11:30am ET, following 4 back to back episodes of Jackie Chan. The 3rd episode of Sailor Moon SuperS will air at it's normal 3:30pm time. I'll have more information on Sailor Moon SS on YTV later in the week. As for page updates, I've added new pictures to the Sailor Moon Pictures and Sounds Page 2.

05/05/01 - The Sailor Moon Pictures and Sounds Page 2 is finally up. Here you will find new sound clips and midi's as well as new pictures each week. Also I've put up the entire Japanese theme song to Sailor Moon as the clip of the week on the Extras page. In other news many people are surprised to hear the Cartoon Network will be showing Cardcaptors beginning June 8th at 5:00pm. As I said on April 25 (read below), Kids'WB and Cartoon Network are now operating under the same higher power. To my understanding both stations are an "AOL Time Warner Company" and are part of Turner Broadcasting. Since the Kids'WB currently only shows Cardcaptors Friday at 4:30pm and their Monday to Friday line up ends at 5:00pm then CN can show Cardcaptors Monday - Friday at 5:00pm so you can watch it after your Kids'WB shows. Keep it mind this is probably temporary since Kids'WB is planning to show Cardcaptors 5 times a week in the fall. Cartoon Network also has a 1/2 timeslot out of their Toonami block always directed at girls, and now that Sailor Moon is gone from Toonami , Cardcaptors is likely the successor. So when the Kids'WB goes to showing Cardcaptors 5 times a week (if not sooner than that), Cartoon Network will likely stop showing Cardcaptors and put back Sailor Moon, hopefully.

04/26/01 - I have one little correction for yesterdays clarification update. It seems that YTV will make the Friday 12:00pm episode of Sailor Moon follow the order of the episodes that run Monday through Friday. So tomorrow's episode of SMR will continue from today's. I have adjusted the news below accordingly. Check the TV schedule below for full details. Also today, I have added one of my favourite Sailor Moon episodes clips to the Extras page. The episode clip is of the Sailor Moon R opening in Japanese, it's one of the best ones I would say, check it out, it will only be around for about a week.

04/25/01 - It's time to clarify a few things. First off, many people are wondering why Cartoon Network will change their Toonami block from 4-7pm to 5-7pm, taking one hour off. Many people think it is a bad move and that if anything they should be adding to the Toonami line-up and not taking away from it. Now the only reason I can think of for this new twist on CN, is that it has to do with the recent WB and Turner Broadcasting murger. You see both stations are now "An AOL Time Warner Company". Jamie Kellner the President and CEO of The WB, has become the new President and CEO of Turner Broadcasting too (which includes CN). Since the stations both stations (WB and CN) are now both under the same umbrella expect them to stop competing against each other and start working together. CN has already taken off the Saturday morning line-up, this was probably not to compete with Kids'WB already strong Saturday morning so kids would not have to choose between cartoons. As for the afternoon time slots Kids'WB afternoon slot currently runs from 3-5pm (2-5pm on some affiliates). Now the Cartoon Network is changing its prime Kids shows from 4-7pm to 5-7pm you can watch your CN cartoons after your Kids'WB ones. You see it's all worked out to better help the viewer plan their TV viewing line up. As for YTV news, the Monday - Firday episodes are currently showing SMR at 12:00pm E/PT. Tuesday nights episode has it's own rotation of Sailor Moon S once a week like the Sunday afternoon slot has it own rotation of Sailor Moon. The Saturday afternoon slot is Sailor Moon SuperS running through for the first time on Canadian TV. Check the TV schedule below for full details.

04/22/01 - Sailor Moon Super S started it's run yesterday (Saturday at 3:30pm) on YTV and will continue to run every Saturday at the same time. Meanwhile YTV has taken off the early evening Firday showing of Sailor Moon but it is still shown 8 times a week so not to worry. As for Cartoon Network their 3rd run of Sailor Moon Super S finishs May 3rd at which point the show will take a break from the line up. Check out the TV Shedule below for all the details. As for updates to the site, the Extras page has been updated with a new episode clip of the week. It is the Sailor Moon R (Part 1) intro in Japanese. The Sailor Moon Pictres and Sounds page 2 should be complete by the end of the week.

04/15/01 - Happy Easter everyone, I've added a new heading above for Easter. Also I wanted to say that I have posted information about the Sailor Moon S series on Video in the Extras section. Also I've updated the Episode Guide and the TV Schedule below with what I believe to be the correct information for Cartoon Network's schedule.

04/13/01 - Well the Sailor Moon movie deal fell through, and Cartoon Network will not be showing any Sailor Moon movies today or in the near future. However, you can get buy the movies on Video. Pioneer even has the videos subtitled on VSH and DVD, with the VHS going for about $24.98 US. As for updates today I updated the schedule below (although I'm still unclear on Cartoon Network's date for the final Sailor Moon SS show). Also the Pictures and Sounds page was updated and the Extras page with new clip of the week.

04/07/01 - This Site has been added to the Sailor Moon Top 25, click the banner above to vote for this site. I've added a new banner for the SailorSenshi.net Sailor Moon top 50 list. The Links page has also been updated and remember that 2 new episodes of Sailor Moon S air today for Canadians on YTV starting at 3:00pm ET.

04/05/01 - Cartoon Network will now be showing the movie Sailor Moon R on April 13th, this was the day that the movie Sailor Moon S was supposed to air but now that has been delayed as well. Once they show Sailor Moon R, the other movies will be shown with little or no problem, no date has been set for the others as yet. In other news, the site Save our Sailor (SOS) recently finished a study to see what suggestions people had on the dubbing of Sailor Moon Starts if it ever were to come to North America (and I hope it will), you can read the results here.
