Barry
horne died november 6th 2001. Whatever he did he never harmed anyone and never
intended to harm anyone. He does not deserve to be forgotten. This
work provides a diary of events in the bse saga for the period january 2001
to november 2001. This is the fourth tf publication on bse - and hardly surprising
given that since the last publication on february 21st 2001 there have been
three major bse or pharming-related incidents: firstly, the organs for sale
debacle exposing the medical profession as being deceitful and unethical; secondly,
the f&m epidemic; and thirdly, the ‘wrong brains experiments’ looking for
bse in Sheep. The first and the third issues give a considerable boost to the
Animal rights’ propositions that Animal experiments are a fraud and a way of
ignoring the truth and that Animal experimenters are also frauds. Despite
the fact that these three issues - organs for sale, the f&m epidemic, and
the ‘wrong brains experiments’ - should help to provide an action-packed dairy
of events about bse and the pharming industry, politically, they have become
virtually irrelevant. The events of september 11th have made such political
issues, like many other domestic political issues, almost redundant. It is as
if politics prior to september 11th now belongs to a past epoch of no relevance
to current political debates. Prior to
september 11th there seemed lots of life left in a number of bse and pharming
related issues. Although the f&m epidemic had virtually been slaughtered
out of existence the political debate seemed to be hotting up over responsibilities
for the epidemic. There was hope that a discussion of this epidemic might lead
to a radical decision - that the government would never again carry out such
an appalling slaughter. But since september 11th politicians seem to almost
take it for granted that if such an epidemic happened again they would adopt
exactly the same policies. The issue of pharmers’ subsidies was also hotting up.
On may 11th 2001 the mundi club had produced a work on the gargantuan subsidies
the government was giving pharmers. There was so much information being published
about these subsidies that the mundi club publish a second, much enlarged, edition.
But now this issue has also become irrelevant - as if it has been completely
buried under the ash of september 11th. It’s now back to normal with the government
continuing to offer the pharming industry whatever subsidies it wants. The issue
of bse in Sheep had been threatening
to erupt for many years but when revelations were made about the
‘wrong brains’ experiment the media took up the issue for a couple of days
but failed to follow up the implications for bse in Sheep. The issue then quickly
disappeared into the black hole created by the september 11th bombings. The
government, ever desperate to persuade people to return to normality, encouraged
people to eat Sheep and has forked out a few thousand quid for a corporate comic
to star in an advert flogging Sheep meat. This doesn’t give the impression that
the government is in the least bit bothered about whether there is bse in Sheep.
Finally, prior to september 11th there was some anticipation that scientists
were nearing the time when it would be possible to obtain an accurate estimate
of the scale of the bse-cjd epidemic,
and yet after september 11th people seem to have little interest in the topic
- after all, when people wonder whether they are going to complete their next
aeroplane journey they’re not likely to worry too much about the prospect of
dying from a deadly disease in twenty-thirty years. What has typified this transformation
of politics after september 11th is tony mcblair. This bseef lover was mired
in opprobrium over his slaughter of 3.8 million Animals because they had a common
cold. And yet he used september 11 as a trampoline to leap onto the moral high
ground where such accusations were made to seem irrelevant. From pharmer-loving
butcher to global statesman in a matter of a few hours. The september
11th bombings are like a natural cut off point for almost fifteen years of problems
caused by the pharming industry which started with the discovery of bse. It
is almost as if september 11th has brought about not so much the end of f&m
and bse but concern about these issues. Politicians are acting as if this is
the end of these problems. Virtually all of the restrictions placed on the movement
of biped and quadraped livestock have now been lifted. The export of lamb and
pork is soon to resume. It won’t be long before bseef is once again being exported
around the world - despite the fact that the government is still refusing to
carry out tests to determine they have the disease. Consumer livestock are once
again eating their fellow livestock. It is as if the september 11th bombings
have wiped clean people’s memories of pharmers’ gross criminality, their contribution
to a series of epidemics and their extravagant subsidies so the public continues
to remain absolutely loyal to them. It doesn’t matter what damage pharmers inflict
on the public, the public just loves them. On a personal
level the feeling here is that after fifteen years of pharmer induced disasters
society is back to square one. Politicians, pharmers, and consumer livestock
have learnt absolutely nothing. It’s like dealing with zombies. In
the late 1980s an outbreak of salmonella in eggs led to the slaughter of millions
of Chickens and huge subsidies were paid to pharmers so they could repeat the
same mistakes all over again, “Our researches had shown that the disease (salmonella)
was endemic in a large majority of british battery-chicken farms. All eggs,
including free-range (which come from the same stock as battery hens and are
therefore contaminated in their internal organs before they are allocated to
either type of husbandry) should be treated with caution.”
[1]
Thatcher sacked edwina curry because she had the guts to stick up for consumers’
interests. Throughout
the 1990s pharmers spread bse around the country, and the rest of the world,
by pretending the disease didn’t exist or, if it did that it wasn’t harmful
to oomans, or, once it was discovered to be harmful, that it no longer existed
in brutish herds. This epidemic resulted in the slaughter of 200,000 Cattle,
the execution of 2 million additional Cattle over the age of 30 months, and
a compensation bill running at about £1 billion a year. About a hundred people
are now dead with thousands, possibly tens of thousands, to follow. Throughout
mcblair’s first administration, rural terrorists, worried about the government’s
promise to curb their subsidies, travelled around the country like rent-a-mob,
lawless, thugs terrorizing people in the same way as they terrorized the Animals
on their pharms. The only difference between pharmers’ terrorizing of biped
livestock and their terrorizing of quadrapeds was that, in the former case,
they were able to extort billions of pounds in compensation. Pharmers’ demands
for compensation were a blatant form of political robbery that makes the great
train robbery seem like child’s play. Pharmers’ subsidies are currently running
at approximately 10,000 times that of the great train robbery. After the
election of the labour government in 1997, mcblair appointed jack cunningham
as secretary of state for agriculture to take on the pharmers and reduce the
enormous subsidies given to the pharming industry. Cunningham tried to protect
consumer health by banning bse-on-the-bone. Pharmers protested about a lack
of subsidies by blockading supermarkets, warehouses, ports, etc around the country,
“Cattle prices crashed in the bse crisis yesterday - as Cows were auctioned
off for the cost of beefburger meal. Premier tony blair appealed for calm and
warned pickets that they will make it harder to end a euro ban on british beef.
He spoke out after rowdy confrontations in dover, holyhead, fishguard, stranraer
and other ports, sparked by farmers who want to keep out cheap irish beef. The
PM signalled there will not be extra cash for farmers on top of the amount already
being spent on the crisis. Downing street insisted that no “pot of gold” existed
to boost farming aid.”
[2]
During one
of these blockades, pharmers hijacked a lorry and threw its contents into the
sea - the police couldn’t be bothered to arrest or charge anyone for the offence
and there was no media condemnation - although if the same thing had been done
by members of the ALF some corrupt, meat-eating, pharming loving, judge would
have given them an exemplary prison sentence longer than that given to murderers.
This is a good example of the class nature of brutish politics. In 1998
pharmers continued blockading industries around the country and helped to organize
the countryside march in london. This resulted in mcblair’s capitulation to
the pharming industry and thereafter the government provided an exponential
increase in pharmers’ subsidies. After the march, pharmers increased their criminal
blockading of industries and forced mcblair into sacking jack cunningham. Mcblair’s
sacking of jack cunningham was a stab in the back - no different from thatcher’s
sacking of edwina curry over salmonella in eggs. Mcblair’s sacking of cunningham
was a major success for pharmers’ rent-a-mob tactics so they increased their
use of this tactic to win even more concessions from ‘boneless blair’ - the
premier who is believed to resemble harold wilson ... except that he doesn’t
have the backbone. Their campaign of civil disobedience over the bse-on-the-bone
ban was supported by charles windsor and a government minister who both invited
the media to witness them breaking the law. Once again, the police couldn’t
be bothered to prosecute either of them and the media applauded these criminals
for their defiance of the law. This situation suggested that eating a brain
rotting disease like bse is to be encouraged but smoking a joint is a terrible
crime for which stiff prison sentences are the only answer. This is another
good example of the class nature of brutish politics. In the autumn
1999 pharmers nearly pushed the country into a trade war with france because
the french very sensibly refused to eat brutland’s bse-ridden bseef. In the
19thc century the brutish navy forced the chinese government into accepting
brutish companies selling heroin to chinese people thereby creating huge numbers
of heroin junkies. Politics has not progressed much over the last century. In
1996, brutish pharmers were banned from exporting bseef but this didn’t stop
them from trying to force the world into eating their bse-infected shit. This
is as stark a case of bioterrorism as is likely to be seen outside of iraq.
Forcing a country to consume disease-riddled cadavers is usually regarded as
an act of war. If pharmers had succeeded in triggering a trade war with france
and europe it would have resulted in millions of people losing their jobs. But
this would not have bothered the pharmers because, as would be seen during the
f&m epidemic, pharmers were all too willing to sacrifice £64billion industries
for the sake of their own £0.5billion industry - an industry which couldn’t
exist without massive subsidies. In 2000
pharmers continued blockading ports and pharming related industries until in
september they brought the country close to a political and economic collapse
by blockading petrol refineries. Once again, if this had been done by the ALF
or greenpeace they would all have been quickly thrown in prison. This is the
third good example of the class nature of brutish politics. Semi-articulate,
pharming ignoramuses then spent the next 60 days strutting around the country
grunting and whinging about a second fuel tax insurrection if the government
didn’t cough up even more pharming subsidies to add to the £6billion annual
subsidies they were already receiving. The media rarely mentioned the scale
of the subsidies being given to pharmers whilst continuing to denounce dole
scroungers. This is the fourth good example of the class nature of brutish politics.
Pharmers spent almost all of the first mcblair administration picketing various
industries so, it has to be asked, who was running their pharms? In the autumn
2000 pharmers’ long term devastation of the countryside, was finally exposed
when the country suffered massive floods. Over 6,500 people had their homes
flooded - many with sewage from local Animal slavery pharms. The floods were
so extensive they nearly brought the country to its knees - and pharmers claimed
compensation for the damage caused by the floods they were responsible for creating! At the end
of 2000 an Animal welfare activist complained about a pharm on which Animals
were being left to die and decompose. The rspca tried to intervene but the pharmer
told their officers to go away. The local authority tried to intervene but,
once again, the pharmer refused them entry. The maffia was eventually called
in but did not punish the pharmer for the state of his pharm. They just asked
him to clean it up. The pharm may have been a perfect breeding ground for f&m.
In other words, the maffia could have stopped the f&m disease but they were
too pro-pharmer to take the necessary action. F&m
was first noticed in february 2001 and, almost immediately, the entire countryside
was closed; Wildlife were slaughtered; and large numbers of social fixtures
were cancelled. The tourism industry was badly affected - after all what tourists
wanted to come to brutland to see one of the most appalling, degenerate, disgusting,
events ever to have taken place in this country since .... the mass slaughter
of Cattle during the bse epidemic? They didn’t want to see or smell the mass
funeral pyres or rotting Animal corpses strewn across the brutish countryside.
They didn’t want to breathe in the smoke from funeral pyres containing dioxins
and other dangerous toxins. The Animal terrorists have repeatedly stated their
aim was to rejuvenate the countryside but all they have done is to push it onto
its knees - well done lads. The reason
this f&m epidemic became the biggest outbreak the world has ever known was
because of the huge scale of pharmers’ criminal activities in transporting Animals
around the country defrauding subsidies from the european union. During the
first mcblair administration, pharmers went around the country blockading industries,
breaking the law, acting like thugs. In complete contrast, the victims of their
bse bioterrorism were dying quietly and ignominiously. Whilst the government
gave pharming scumbags huge subsidies for spreading diseases around the country,
the victims of bse-cjd were dying without the specialist care they needed. And
whilst the media has ignored the people dying of bse-cjd, it has given pharming
scumbags huge amounts of favourable publicity for whatever protests they’ve
been engaged in. This is truly a sick and diseased society. The commonplace
allegation that criminals have all the rights whilst the victims of crime have
none, is nowhere more true than in the pharming industry where pharmers are
responsible for murdering dozens of people by spreading a brain rotting disease
and yet are given nothing but public admiration. But then what does this indicate
other than the appalling class nature of brutish society. Every time
there’s an outbreak of a pharming disease, politicians and media encourage the
public to rally around pharmers for being the innocent victims of yet another
accidental disease outbreak. But, it has to be asked, is it really feasible
that pharmers are the accidental victims of a succession of diseases such as
salmonella, bse, swine fever, e-coli, and f&m? Do they deserve tens of billions
in compensation for these so-called accidents? Aren’t pharmers a little too
accident prone to be entrusted with such vast sums of public money? The
year from september 2000 to september 10th 2001, was one of the most remarkable
in brutish history but this was just the culmination of an extraordinary period
since the election of the first mcblair government. There has never been a period
in brutish history when a group of workers have nearly brought the country to
a halt four times within a matter of years and each time over a completely different
issue:- * the bseef trade war against france in the autumn
1999; *
the fuel tax insurrection in september 2000; *
the mass flooding of autumn 2000; and *
the f&m epidemic in february 2001. It is surely
one of the great ironies of recent brutish history that a prime minister who
came into power clearly indicating his intention of reducing agricultural subsidies,
eventually found that pharmers had so completely turned the tables on him they
were able to dictate whether he should implement a major policy (vaccinating
Animals infected by foot and mouth - hereinafter f&m) and, even more strikingly,
when he announced the date of the 2001 general election. In tf16,
published in may 1999, the mundi club warned mcblair that his capitulation to
the pharming industry after the countryside march in march 1998, could rebound
upon him as the tory government’s support for pharmers had rebounded upon them
in the 1997 general election. Despite the fact that brutish pharmers’ criminal
activities were responsible for the fuel tax insurrection, the autumn 2000 floods,
and the f&m epidemic, mcblair seemed intent on subsidizing these red-necked
thugs so they could return to their disastrous pharming practices - which, by
the way, still includes recycling Animal material for Animal feed. And yet remarkably,
he was not electorally punished in the 2001 general election for his first four
years in office which was almost exclusively preoccupied with providing the
country’s pharmers with seemingly endless subsidies. It’s bizarre.
In 1997 the major government chose to provide subsidies for pharmers with bse-infected
Animals rather than reducing income tax which might have encouraged more people
to vote for the tory party at the general election. They lost by a landslide.
Mcblair provided an even greater quantity of subsidies for pharmers as a result
of the fuel tax insurrection, the mass flooding of autumn 2000, and the f&m
epidemic, and yet he won the 2001 election by a landslide. Mcblair’s only punishment
was that he won on the lowest turnout since 1918 as millions of urbanites were
sickened by his exclusive devotion to pharmers’ interests. HOW MANY

“Member
states of the European Union kicked off a sweeping campaign Tuesday to test
all cows over the age of 30 months for mad cow disease in a move to quell consumer
fears about food safety. Portuguese Agriculture Minister Luis Capoulas Santos
said Friday that quick tests for mad cow disease would be introduced in April.
Authorities have predicted that a total of about 130 cases would be detected
in 2000. In France, 13 laboratories will conduct some 20,000 tests weekly on
cattle across the country, starting this month. At least 153 cases of mad cow
disease were discovered in France last year during testing of sick animals,
around five times the number detected in 1999. In Spain, cows will be tested
in two phases: the first, to start immediately, concerns all at-risk animals,
including those slaughtered because they were ill; the second, starting July
1, will have all animals over the age of 30 months tested. Dutch authorities
have said they would be able to test 2,500 animals a day for the brain-wasting
illness. Eight cases have been found in the Netherlands. No cases of BSE have
been reported in Austria, Finland, Greece or Sweden.”

forces Government to clean up Brutish Hospitals.
“Hospitals
have been given £200 million to ‘clean up’ sterilization procedures to reduce
the risk of passing on cjd in the operating theatre. New machinery will be provided
to clean surgical instruments between operations and single-use disposable equipment
will be introduced for removing tonsils. The health department described the
move as ‘precautionary’. It comes after government bse experts warned that cjd,
the human form of mad cow disease, could be spread on the operating table.”

January 7th 2001: Germans can’t face up to the Present.
“The
German government faced new accusations on Sunday that it had long ignored scientists'
warnings about mad cow disease, triggering calls for the resignation of the
agriculture and health ministers. The Welt am Sonntag newspaper published a
letter sent by a top zoology professor to Agriculture Minister Karl-Heinz Funke
in January of last year saying that the first cases of the disease had been
found in Germany a decade earlier. Funke nevertheless continued to state publicly
that Germany was free of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) until a new
case was found in November 2000. Funke did not reply to his letter until April
of last year: "There was no sign of any political will. The answer said
nothing," In a separate but related development the health ministry denied
a report in Der Spiegel magazine that departmental chief Andrea Fischer had
failed to pass on a report on BSE to the agriculture ministry from European
Union Food Safety Commissioner David Byrne. Opposition leaders nevertheless
called on Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder to sack Funke, a Social Democrat, and
Fischer, a member of junior coalition partners the Greens, for bungling their
handling of the bse outbreak.”

January 8th 2001: American Cowboys Demand end to EU Pharming
Subsidies.
“The
largest U.S. farm group, tired of EU "slander" of American beef and
grains, will demand an end to "all illegal" EU farm supports if new
world trade rules are not at hand in 2004, its leader said Monday. Bob Stallman,
president of the five million-member American Farm Bureau Federation, said a
1994 agreement among nations not to challenge most agricultural supports for
10 years "has not offered U.S. exporters or exporters in other countries
any peace from subsidized European Union competition." "Let me be
clear -- once this so-called peace clause expires, if an acceptable agreement
on agriculture is not in sight, Farm Bureau will insist that our government
challenge all illegal EU subsidies in place at that time," Stallman said
in a speech to the AFBF annual meeting. AFBF wants to eliminate all export subsidies,
reduce tariffs on agricultural goods and prevent trade barriers being disguised
as health and food safety rules. Some competitors say U.S. export credit programs
also must be curtailed because they distort sales. Europe has refused to accept
shipments of U.S. beef produced with the use of artificial growth hormones despite
adverse World Trade Organization rulings. It has not approved import of genetically
modified U.S. corn. In both cases, U.S. officials say the products are safe.”
[6]
; "I find it irritating that the Europeans demean and slander the quality
of our beef and arbitrarily reject the benefits of our commodities enhanced
through biotechnology even as they try to deal with the 'mad cow' epidemic stampeding
over their continent," Stallman said in remarks prepared for the 5,000
people at the AFBF convention. Europe has refused to accept shipments of U.S.
beef produced with the use of artificial growth hormones despite adverse World
Trade Organization rulings. It has not approved import of genetically modified

The Chaos of France’s Anti-Bse Measures.
The
french government’s attempt to rush through its anti-bse measures has resulted
in widescale chaos, as was all too obvious would happen weeks ago when the french
government outlined its intentions. It has given yet another opportunity for
french pharmers to take to the streets and hold up traffic until they are properly
compensated for whatever liability they can think up at the time, “Under the
rules introduced in france on 1st january, all Cattle more than 30 months old
slaughtered in abattoirs must be tested for bse before the meat can be sold.
More than 20,000 Cattle a week need to be tested but the available laboratories
can deal with only 5,000. In normandy and brittany, abattoirs have closed because
no testing service is available.”

Brutish Politicians are mass Murderers.
“The
agriculture minister, jean glavany .. said britain was “morally” responsible
for the spread of mad cow disease to the continent because it had allowed suspect
animal feed to be exported. “It is our english friends who exported this evil.
Morally they should be judged for that one day. They even allowed themselves
the luxury of banning the use of such feed (in brutland) while allowing it to
be exported. From a moral viewpoint that is unacceptable.””
[9]
Glavany should stop yapping about it and take the bastards to court. Every
Cow and every ooman outside brutland who dies from bse has been murdered as
a result of policies enacted by the tory, and labour, governments so they should
be prosecuted for such crimes. The barbarity of what they did is truly appalling
and reveals the true nature euro-scepticism. January 10th 2001: The Day’s Events.

German Ministers with Integrity - Unlike their Corrupt Counterparts
in Brutland.
According
to ‘the guardian’, “Germany’s centre-left government was last night pitched
into crisis by the resignation of two cabinet ministers accused of mishandling
the fallout from the spread of bse. (i.e. andrea fischer and karl-heinz funke).
The sudden turn of events posed a new threat to british farming since the politician
tipped to take over as germany’s health minister is best known as a determined
opponent of the lifting of the ban on beef imports from britain. (This is ms
hohn, who also happens to be a green). The resignations marked the latest phase
in a giddying turnaround in the fortunes of the government which, until recently,
had been riding high in opinion polls. By yesterday, the number of confirmed
bse cases had grown to ten.”
[11]
The mirror’s view of the resignations is better than the guardian’s, “Two
government ministers were forced to resign yesterday over an outbreak of mad
cow disease in germany. Their decision is in stark contrast to that of tory
ministers stephan dorrell, john mcgregor, douglas hogg, and john gummer, who
clung to office when the bse crisis exploded here in 1996.”
[12]
Greens involved in Spreading Bse.
So
far, greens’ role in the spread of bse seemed to be confined to the wacky views
of mark purdey and his extreme right wing friends but apparently one of the
german ministers forced to resign was also a green who’d been doing her bit
to spread the disease, “Ms (andrea) fischer, a leading member of the green party,
first fell foul of the crisis last month when she was forced into a u-turn over
the need to recall sausages containing mechanically recovered meat products.
She later admitted that a warning from government experts on practices in the
sausage industry had lain unattended for 10 days in her ministry.”

Labour Tries to Cover up its Neglect of Urban Decay.
For
the first time since his election in may 1997, mcblair visits a council housing
estate - something he had studiously avoided doing in order to prevent middle
england from being reminded that these were the people who elected him into
office, “Tony blair yesterday launched a crusade to wipe ‘sink estates’ off
the map and bring prosperity to every housing estate in britain. Labour’s £130
million drive to revitalise deprived areas will focus on health, homes, schools,
the neighbourhood environment, and crime.”
[16]
Quite why anyone on a council estate should vote for this traitor to decency
is unknown. The
following is a quote from tf17, “These days it’s deemed reasonable to give rural
areas huge sums of money whereas giving similar quantities of money to council
estates is regarded as an example of an old labour vice. If anything council
estates these days are even worse off than they were before because billions
of pounds are being siphoned out of these communities by the national lottery
which has been taken over by a bunch of elitist prats who have used people’s
money to finance their favourite landmark projects in the arts, media, and heritage.
Blair’s publicity tour of rural voters is all too indicative that the labour
party has switched the basis of its support from urban to rural areas.” Bse in Mcdonalds.
It
was only a few weeks ago, december 13th, that mcdonalds launched a propaganda
campaign to allay people’s fears about bse. Does this gigantic multi-national
corporation believe that the whole of europe can be affected by bse and yet
itself remain completely free of the disease? “Italy’s first suspected case
of mad cow disease has been found at a slaughterhouse which supplies meat to
mcdonald’s restaurants. Scientists are carrying out further tests for bse on
the animal from the slaughterhouse at lodi, in the northern lombardy region.
The italian meat industry tried to calm public fears by insisting that the country’s
test system “rules out any possibility of risk for the consumer.””
[17]
January 19th 2001: Home to Roost - Now it’s Oomans who are
spreading Bse - the first fatalities caused by the Labour Government.
When
it came into power, the labour government did everything it could to avoid taking
action over the transmission of bse-cjd through ooman blood transfusions and
operations. It is likely this evasion led to many people becoming infected with
the disease, “Hundreds of haeomophiliacs could be infected with the human form
of mad cow disease after a donor suffering from cjd gave blood. The contaminated
british plasma was used in products manufactured by bio products laboratory
in 1996 and 1997. Health centres will now try to trace sufferers who were injected
with the affected batches.”
[18]
Up to this point many victims of bse had died because of actions taken
by pharmers or actions not taken by tory governments. These are the first bse
fatalities which can be attributed to the labour government. As was noted
in tf17, february 6th 1998, the department of health’s policy over bse-cjd in
blood donations was to refuse to tell blood donors whether their blood contained
bse-cjd. The doh’s refusal had nothing to do with a concern for people’s health
but with a concern that the corpses might start waving their shrouds in protest
at the department’s total failure to prevent the spread of the disease. They
might even have started taking retaliatory action against the pharmers responsible
for spreading the disease. It was only pressure from scientists that forced
the government to take measures to prevent the spread of bse-cjd through ooman
blood - see tf17 february 27th 1998. January 21st 2001: Total Bse-cjd Fatalities.

than 80 victims have died of nvcjd.”

mandelson resigns over the help he gave to a wealthy businessperson who was
applying for a passport. Poor old mandy. He was born into an establishment family
and his youthful expectation was that one day he would enter parliament and
be at the centre of the country’s political life. But, he wasn’t interested
in power, since he was neither a demagogue nor a dictator. What interested him
was the status conferred upon him by society and the social opportunities it
would give to meet the world’s rich and famous so that he could indulge his
love of the good life. January 30th 2001: The Day’s Events.
Vernon Coleman issues another Challenge to the Tory Government
over Bse in Sheep.
The
mundi club has repeatedly stated that what the tory government did for the bseef
industry the labour government is doing for the Sheep industry, “For years i’ve
been warning that anyone who eats lamb today is asking to die of one of the
world’s nastiest diseases. I’ve seen a sheep die of mad cow disease. How long
do we have to wait before the government puts the public before farmers and
finally admits the truth?”
[20] Brutish Vets who have never found any Spinal Material amongst
Brutish Cattle suddenly find lots in German bseef - even though it was probably
put there by Brutish Pharmers.
“Banned
spinal material in a consignment of foreign beef sparked a new bse alert yesterday.
News of the shock discovery came amid reports that a european beef mountain
is piling up as shoppers shun it. The spinal parts were found by a vet after
an inspection of german beef at a meat-cutting plant at eastborne, east sussex.
All of the consignment has been traced and the affected meat will be destroyed.
The find was made as the european commission said it could not support farmers
by buying up surpluses. A 10% fall in consumption is expected this year on top
of the existing 27% drop because of bse fears. That would leave a 795,000 ton
surplus. Britain, sweden, and finland are the only three eu countries where
beef-eating is on the increase. EU agriculture commissioner frans fischler said
.. farmers should accept subsidies for dumping the meat because the eu could
not afford to buy the surplus to keep in the deep freeze.”
[21]
Well what a surprise that brutish meat inspectors suddenly started finding
pieces of spinal cord in (continental) bseef after a decade of failing to find
any in brutish bseef. Doesn’t this seem a tad suspicious? It’s amazing how diligent
brutish meat inspectors can be when it comes to continental bseef. They are
solely concerned that brutish people should die only as a result of eating brutish
bseef rather than continental bseef. Labour Gives More Subsidies to the Pharmers.
“Brian
haddock, the militant farmers' leader, predicted Blair will face `a very very
rough reception' if he goes to the nfu without an aid package. He also said
it would be disastrous news for the `softly, softly' tactics of the current
nfu leadership. Haddock said: `Blair is willing to offer redundancy packages
for mineworkers and steelworkers, but nothing for farmers, yet we invest everything
in feeding the British public. We are burying farmers who have killed themselves
every week.' Haddock, seen as the rank- and-file champion, is expected to be
elected vice-president of the union later this week. He said yesterday: `I want
the nfu to change and link up the Countryside Alliance, the tenant farmers,
the village post offices, the local pubs, the parish councils. As farmers we
are only 2 per cent of the vote. If we form a wider alliance, we will be 25
per cent of the vote and a voice that cannot be ignored.' In a tough message
to the NFU, Blair will say: `Nobody can deny that parts of the farming industry
are in crisis and I am not going to pretend that the Government can solve all
the farmers' problems. The answer cannot be ever more subsidy and ever more
compensation. It has to be developing the reforms and diversification that many
farmers are already trying to embrace for themselves.' Farmers have been pressing
for a new £577m package to compensate for the rise in the pound and the continued
loss of beef markets in Europe because of the bse crisis. The nfu has suggested
compensation worth £362m lay unclaimed from a total of £450m available under
EU rules. Ministers will defend their rural record by pointing out that the
Government has put £170m into improving rural transport and £40m into the School
Support Fund which helps rural schools.”

January 31st 2001: The Medical Authorities’ Theft of Ooman
Organs.
Introduction.
Since
the second world war, medical professionals have been held in enormous public
esteem. As medicine has become more technologically advanced, the public’s admiration
for the skills of the upper echelons of the medical profession e.g. registrars
and consultants, has grown and grown. The first heart transplant surgeon became
a highly honoured media celebrity. The greater their technological skills, the
greater the public admiration they received. But, it also has to be noted, the
greater their public status, the more status they bestowed upon themselves.
Increasingly those at the top of the highly graded medical hierarchy have looked
upon themselves as gods not merely with the power of life or death over mere
mortals but people who were infallible, who knew what was wrong with a patient
and what needed to be done without the patient even having to say anything.
The public regarded doctors with so much trust and respect it was almost as
if they were in awe of surgeons’ magical powers. But doctors abused this awe.
They developed an imperiousness and high-handedness which tolerated no criticisms
- not even from the patients they were treating. They didn’t need to answer
criticisms from those opposed to what they were doing because they were so highly
regarded by the public. Surgeons were educated and trained in prestigious institutions
and embarked on glamorous careers in prestigious teaching and research hospitals.
Their aspirations to divinity were fed throughout their long training and in
the awards they won throughout their careers. The News about Organ Thefts.
At
the end of january 2001, however, the medical practitioners’ divinity came crashing
down to Earth. A report was published into the profession’s practice of illegally
removing organs from the dead, “More than 100,000 hearts, lungs, brains and
other organs are being held, many of them taken from patients whose relatives
have no idea they buried an incomplete corpse, a report by the government’s
chief medical officer, liam donaldson, concluded. Doctors stripped body parts
from patients, including the head of an 11 year old boy, and preserved the bodies
of stillborn babies, then disposed of them as “clinical waste” in a way which
donaldson said would shock the public.”
[23]
The whole country was shocked, horrified, and appalled to discover that
the medical profession had been engaged in a huge racket stealing large numbers
of organs from the deceased .. “it was revealed that a horrifying 105,000 organs,
body parts, dead babies and foetuses are currently being stored nationwide.”
[24]
For
generations the medical profession had been lying and deceiving people on a
massive scale. Many of the thefts were carried out by pathologists during post-mortem
examinations but surgeons were also involved. What added to the distress felt
by the relatives of the victims of the medical authority’s criminal activities
was that many of the organs that had been stolen had been left unused in vast
organ collections whilst some of those that had been used had been disposed
of as industrial rubbish. The medical profession had even been selling stolen
organs to pharmaceutical companies. The media, of course, scapegoated one doctor
(who not surprisingly was a johnny foreigner) but the practice of stealing organs
was commonplace in many hospitals around the country. Ironically, the more prestigious
the doctors and hospitals, the more likely they were to have been involved in
this massive theft and deception, “A total of 4,400 organs - all brains - are
kept by the oxford radcliffe hospitals trust. They are stored at the radcliffe
infirmary, which is nationally renowned for neuro-science, and used for teaching
or research into brain injuries, schizophrenia or new variant cjd. They were
removed at the john radcliffe hospital during post-mortem examinations ordered
by the coroner or carried out with relatives’ consent to determine the cause
of death. Oxford University medical school has 1,000 organs - the fifth highest
among the country’s medical schools. But mr highton said this collection had
not been added to since 1982, and most of the organs were removed during surgery
rather than during post-mortem examinations.”
[25]
The
medical practice of stealing organs was known about by virtually the entire
profession because so many people were involved in aiding and abetting these
criminal activities. Nurses had to help extract organs from patients; technicians
had to look after the organ collections; administrators had to provide the finance
for the upkeep of these collections; and researchers who used the organs. In
other words, many participated in, or benefited from, this practice and the
whole of the medical profession has kept this terrible secret for centuries.
Shock in the Media.
The
media was shocked by what doctors had been doing. The ‘voice of the mirror’
asked, “What concerns us is how such a horrible scandal could have happened.”
[26]
One provincial newspaper was aghast at the deception, “The dictionary defines
‘trust’ as a firm belief in the reliability of people or organizations to act
responsibly towards others. Today, the oxford radcliffe hospitals nhs trust
stands unworthy of this word in its title. Revelations about the storing of
4,400 brains for research purposes, removed from bodies over a 30 year period
and mostly without the permission of bereaved families, display a degree of
arrogance, conceit and callousness that beggars belief. What we now demand is
a new openness, total honesty and a fresh approach to the dignity and feelings
of others from our local health trusts.”
[27]
The medical authorities’ claim to divine providence which had led doctors
to act with a high handed imperiousness usually reserved for royalty, had rebounded
upon them. How the mighty have fallen. In future, it would be difficult for
the medical profession to continue pretending that it is trustworthy, honest,
and truthful. Public Shock.
Some
of the victims’ relatives called for the prosecution of the doctors involved
in these crimes, “A family called today for the prosecution of oxford doctors
who removed their dead son’s brain and threw it away as medical waste. Paul
and barbie clynes spoke out after it was revealed that oxford hospitals had
the second highest number of human organs in storage. A total of 4,400 brains
have been stored over the past 30 years at the radcliffe infirmary for teaching
and research. Hospital officials accepted that many families would not have
been aware that brains had been removed from their loved ones.”
[28]
The Degeneracy of the Medical Profession.
The
organ donor scandal is not just a blemish in an otherwise impeccable record.
The medical profession has been in a state of corruption for years. It has created
millions of prescription drug addicts. It has lorded it over hospitals where
5,000 a year die from dirty and unhygienic conditions. It did nothing to protest
about the deceptions, lies, and misleading statements made by the ministry of
agriculture, veterinarians, and pharmers, that bse posed no risk to oomans.
In 1998, a commentator highlighted the fact that the medical profession had
written only one article about bse - as if it did not regard bse as a public
health issue, “One major article by Richard Johnson into the Real and Theoretical
threats to human health posed by the epidemic of bse is particularly interesting
in that only one other public health expert has actually ever written on the
subject (Will Patterson) and that was followed by stony silence from his peers.”
[29]
Whilst
in brutland the medical profession has enjoyed decades of high public esteem,
around the world it has come to be seen as a laughing stock, “The beef-eaters,
myself included, have been saved by our resistance - not by the government scientists,
the government vets, and the Department of Health, whose advice has been as
dangerously bad about BSE and CJD as it was over HIV, haemophilia and hepatitis
C. In a less dramatic way, their tardiness in supporting adequate screening
for high blood pressure, breast cancer, cervical cancer and prostatic cancer
has made these aspects of British medicine the object of the world’s derision.”
[30]
Ironically,
having done next to nothing to stop the spread of bse, the medical profession
is now trying to justify organ thefts in terms of understanding or curing the
disease, “One who begged for the donations to continue said the killer disease
vcjd would never have been discovered had it not been for research using tissue
donated with the consent of relatives.”
[31]
The Revelation was made because of Bse.
It
is commonly believed the origins of the medical organ scandal lay in the bristol
babies enquiry in september 1999, “This is how the alder hey organs scandal
finally came to light. News of the organs store is revealed during the enquiry
into the bristol babies heart scandal.”
[32]
However, it could be argued this revelation was triggered off in august
28th 1998 when the government initiated a research project to ascertain the
spread of bse-cjd amongst oomans, “A government-funded study of appendix and
tonsil tissues taken from 2,000 people since the 1980s .. The study was ordered
to try to find out how many people were at risk of contracting bse-cjd.”
[33]
Six thousand samples from organ collections around the country were tested
on Mice to see if they contained bse. At the time, the impression given in the
media was that the samples came from patients who’d had an organ removed during
an operation. Television programmes showed footage of organ collections thereby
drawing attention, for the first time, to their existence. Questions began to
be asked. Not surprisingly, the brutish medical authorities successfully failed
to find any evidence that would incriminate their pharming colleagues, “Scientists
found no sign of the devastating human form of mad cow disease in the 3,000
tonsil and appendix samples removed after surgery in the 1980s.”
[34]
Time to give Medical Critics some Credit.
It
is time the public stopped treating doctors as gods whose every word could be
trusted and to start giving more consideration to the views of those who have
been critical of the medical profession. In particular they should start paying
more attention to those who have pointed out that Animal experiments are used
to defend vested interests, as was blatantly obvious in the bse experiments
on Mice which indicated it was safe to eat bse-infected bseef. Far from saving
ooman lives, Animal experiments increase ooman fatalities. It would be a tragedy
if the outcome of this exposure of doctors’ gross deceptions and misconduct
is an increase in Animal experiments. February 3rd 2001: The Day’s Events.
Another Bse-Cjd Victim who hardly Eats Bseef.
“A
computer firm executive died of vcjd just seven months after doctors believed
she was suffering from stress. Her husband said, “We hardly ever ate red meat.
We had beefburgers once a month and steak occasionally.”
[35]
The Loonies are still at the Barricades.
“One
of the leaders of last year’s fuel protests was arrested at a demo and charged
with obstruction of the highway. Farmer david handley was protesting with 100
others against low milk praises at the dairy crest plant near stroud gloucester.”
[36]
February 15th 2001: The Day’s Events.
“A
haemophiliac who has hepatitis and hiv from tainted blood has now been told
he has also been exposed to cjd. Marc payton has been told that he is not at
risk ...”
[37]
Saturday February 17th 2001: Bbc2’s Animal Rights Programmes.
Bbc2
presents two programmes about the Animal rights movement. It points out that
the Animal exploitation industry is the biggest industry in the world and that
it has been estimated that, around the world, some 43 billion Animals are slaughtered
every year. Meat production in america has soared fivefold since the second
world war. The biggest slaughterhouse in the world is in the state of carolina,
the united states of america, and it slaughters 32,000 Pigs everyday.
[38]
It also showed that many red neck rural extremists are ignoring Animal
welfare and conservation laws by adopting the creed of ‘Shoot, shovel, and shut
up.’
