Britain’s Current Carbon Status.
•
Britain’s current Carbon exports, the release of Carbon emissions into
the atmosphere, are 160mtC a year whilst its imports, through Photosynthesis,
are 2.9mtC. This means:- firstly, that the country
is a Carbon debtor of 157.1mtC per year; secondly, that the country’s
Carbon absorption is only a meagre 1.4% of its Carbon emissions. There is probably
no other country around the world which has a more appalling environment. • To give an example of
just how appalling the country’s geophysiological condition has become - even
agriculture releases 8 times more Carbon pollution than is being absorbed by
the country’s Forests, "In 1990, greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture
were 24.8mtC, or around 12% of the u.k’s total greenhouse gas emissions, including
emissions estimated to be 8.7mtC from land use change." • If britain tried to reduce
its Carbon debts solely by reducing its Carbon emissions even a 50% reduction
in Carbon emissions (from 160mtC per year to 80mtC whilst Carbon imports remain
at 2.9mtC) would only increase the percentage of Carbon imports to Carbon exports
from a truly pathetic 1.4% to a minuscule 2.8%. • If britain wanted to balance
its Carbon status it would have to reduce its Carbon emissions from 160mtC a
year to 2.9mtC a year - a reduction of 98%. • The british countryside’s
green beauty has an astro-turf nature which, unfortunately, disguises the wholesale
devastation of the Earth’s life sustaining processes in this country. Thankfully,
the autumn 2000 floods exposed, in a much more vivid way than government statistics,
the sham of the country’s belief in its rich and luxuriant Biodiversity. It
is just as ridiculous to talk about the country’s ‘green and pleasant motorways’
as it to talk about the country’s ‘green and pleasant’ countryside. • Britain’s environment
resembles a vast frying pan covered in lard in one of the country’s cheap motorway
cafeterias specializing in traditional english breakfasts for imminent heart
attack victims. Conclusions about Britain’s Current Carbon Status.
The
devastation of britain’s Photosynthetic capacity i.e. its life sustaining
processes, suggests it must have been a major contributor to the autumn
2000 floods. Throughout the country’s entire history, its Photosynthetic
capacity has probably never been as threadbare as it is now. The deformation
of the british countryside has not merely contributed to global burning,
it has created almost ideal conditions for flooding. If a group of eco-nazis
got together to work out what they could do to turn the country into an
enormous flood zone they couldn’t have done a better job than the country’s
pharmers and their green allies. Perhaps the most accurate analogy to
describe the country’s virtually non-existent life sustaining processes
is that it resembles a vast frying pan covered in lard in one of the country’s
cheap motorway cafes which specialize in traditional english breakfasts
for the next generation of heart attack victims. •
In britain, the Earth’s Photosynthetic capacity>the Earth’s climate
stabilization system>the Earth’s life support system, has been virtually
annihilated. It could almost serve as a definition of a geophysiological
disaster zone. In some ways it’s far worse than environmental conditions
found in deserts! • The belief that britain
is a ‘green and pleasant land’ is a politically induced delusion. To be more
accurate it is an ideological crop fertilized by propaganda from the country’s
landowning pharming elite. Croplands around the country - most of which are
grown to feed Animalkind - are planted, fertilised, protected, managed, harvested,
stored, and marketed, with the aid of vast quantities of fossil fuels. They
are just green oil slicks. The Plants/Crops/Grasses produced from crude oil
aren’t much different from plastic plates or shopping bags. The countryside’s
green beauty has an astro-turf nature which, unfortunately, disguises the wholesale
devastation of the Earth’s life sustaining processes in this country. Thankfully,
the autumn 2000 floods exposed, in a much more vivid way than government statistics,
the sham of the country’s belief in its rich and luxuriant Biodiversity. It
is just as ridiculous to talk about the country’s ‘green and pleasant motorways’
as it the country’s ‘green and pleasant’ countryside. • It is believed that the
primary action which needs to be taken to combat future floods is the con-struction
of flood defence systems. Flood con-struction projects are social mausoleums
for demented eco-nazis. British Emissions per Square Kilometre.
The
total area of the united kingdom is approximately 250,000km2. This means
that british emissions per square kilometre are 160,000,000tC divided
by 250,000km2 which is 640tC/km2. That is, every square kilometre in the
country is emitting, on average, approximately 640tC every year. Comparing British, to Global, Emissions per Square Kilometre.
In comparison, the average
amount of Carbon released per square kilometre around the world is 7.66gtC divided
by 149,000,000 km2 which equals about 51tC. Britain’s Carbon emissions per square
kilometre are a massive 640tC - which is 12.5 times the global average. Once
again, this reveals the staggering scale of the devastation this country has
inflicted on its share of the Earth’s life support system. It reveals all too
clearly the enormous contribution that brutland is making, proportionately speaking,
to the destabilization of the climate and immizerization around the world. Comparing Britain’s current total Carbon Emissions to its total Carbon Emissions
if based on the Global Average of Carbon Emissions per Square Kilometre.
If britain released Carbon
at the global rate of Carbon emissions per square kilometre its total emissions
would be 250,000km2 multiplied by 51tC/km2 i.e. a mere 12,750,000tC in comparison
to current emissions of 160,000,000tC. Yet again, this reveals the gross disparity
between the super-abundant consumerism enjoyed by consumers in brutland in comparison
to the far more moderate rates of consumption around the rest of the world.
The Percentage Reductions in Carbon Emissions Britain would have to make in
order to be on a par with the Rest of the World.
If britain had to reduce
its emissions per square kilometre to the global average this would mean reductions
of 92%. The State of the Global Climate if Britain’s Carbon Emissions per Square Kilometre
were the average for the Earth.
Another way of presenting
these basic facts of the country’s geophysiological condition is to look at
the state of the Earth’s climate if britain’s Carbon emissions per square kilometre
were common around the world - in other words, what the state of the Earth would
be like if every country was wrecking the Earth’s life support system to the
same extent as britain. Given that the land area of the Earth is approximately
149,000,000 km2 then, on the basis of britain’s emissions of 640tC per km2 per
year, this would mean global emissions would be 95gtC per year. This is far
in excess of the rather paltry 7.6gtC which are currently being released around
the world. The Area of Land around the World needed to mop up the Country’s Current Carbon
Emissions.
It is also possible to calculate
from the above figures the area of land needed to absorb britain’s current Carbon
emissions. Britain currently releases 160,0000,000tC per year so if this was
absorbed at the rate of 51tCkm2 (the global average for the absorption of Carbon)
then the area required would be 3,000,000km2. Given that britain’s land area
is 250,000km2 this means the country would need an area 12 times its own size
in order to absorb all the Carbon it is currently emitting. The Area of Land around the World that Britain is Using for its own Benefit.
In conclusion, what this
means is that britain requires:- • 3,000,000km2 of land around
the world to absorb its Carbon emissions; • 2,000,000km2 of land to
extract resources from around the world; and, • 1,000,000km2 of land to
absorb the Carbon emissions from its imports of Phytomass. In other
words britain, whose land area is a mere quarter of a million square kilometres,
is using approximately 6 million km2 of land around the planet whose area
of land is approximately 149 million km2. In other words, Britain, with
1/600 of the Earth’s land, affects, in one way or another, roughly 6 million
square kilometres or 4% of the Earth’s land area. It is using, for its
own benefit, roughly 24 times its own land area. Britain couldn’t absorb its current Emissions even if it covered the entire
country with Forests.
The total area of the united
kingdom is approximately 25,000,000 hectares. If it takes one hectare of forest
land to absorb five tonnes of carbon a year and if the entire country was covered
in Forests, this would mean the country could absorb only 125,000,000tC per
year - still 35gtC short of being able to absorb all of its emissions. The labour
government and the national pharmers union claim the country is close to sustainability.
The above calculation reveals this is utter twaddle. The country couldn’t get
further away from unsustainability even if it dropped off the planet and set
up its own orbit around the solar system. The Country’s Population if it were to have the Global Average of people per
square Kilometre.
If britain had the global
average population density, the country’s population would be equal to 10 million.
This means there would have to be a dramatic sixfold reduction in the brutish
population if the country was to conform to the global average. Britain’s Historical Carbon Status.
Britain was the first country
to industrialize and has burnt a large quantity of biofuels, some in the form
of fossil fuels such as coal and oil, the rest mainly Wood drawn from Forests.
As a consequence, since the start of the industrial revolution, taken to be
1750, it is likely that it has exported far more Carbon into the atmosphere
than it has absorbed. Using back of the envelope calculations britain’s historical
Carbon debt could be in the region of 6gtC. Britain’s Carbon Budget for the Creation of a Sustainable Planet.
Assume that because of the
dire threat posed by global burning, a world climate authority is established
to stabilize the climate by setting a global Carbon budget and national Carbon
budgets for each country around the world. For the sake of simplicity assume
that this means returning the climate to the state it was in at the start of
the industrial revolution. This would mean that britain’s historical Carbon
budget for the creation of a sustainable planet would be 6gtC. If these debts
had to be paid off within 30 years then britain would have to change from being
a net annual Carbon exporter of 157mtC to a net Carbon importer of 200 mtC per
annum. Recommendation.
• Given the country’s Carbon
budget it would not be possible to balance its budget merely through pollution
curbs. It would require wholesale deconstruction of the Animal enslavement industry.
Half the country would have to be Reforested and some of it would need to be
declared as Wilderness areas in order to dramatically increase the country's
Carbon absorption capacity. The scale of the country’s Carbon debts are such
that Reforestation is not an insignificant but an essential policy. No amount
of pollution reduction policies are going to import enough Carbon to enable
the country to repay its debts to the Earth. • There is not the slightest
hope of combating global burning, stabilizing the climate, or creating a sustainable
planet, without abolishing the slave pharming industry and allowing the land
to revert back to Forests. If this is not done then people might as well forget
about protecting the environment and just go out and party as much as they can
before the Earth’s life sustaining processes collapse. All other environmental
policies are superficial because they cannot restore the Earth’s life sustaining
processes in this country. The only thing such policies are good for are to
make people think that something is being done to protect the environment when,
in reality, all they are doing is covering up the damage which the eco-nazis
are inflicting on the Earth.
