Those fears are realized when a wave of violence against women is traced back to Billy, whose mere touch has the power to bring out the worst in otherwise good men.
First aired Oct 29 2001

Offspring
Darla arrives at the hotel—pregnant and angry, looking for the daddy. Cordelia, hurt by Angel's dishonesty, takes Darla's side in the matter. Baffled by how the pregnancy is even possible, Angel and company turn to the Host for some insight.
First aired Nov 5, 2001

Quickening
As Angel and the gang try to figure out what exactly is inside Darla—who's now having contractions—news of her pregnancy causes near pandemonium at Wolfram & Hart. Meanwhile, the demon Sahjhan tries to bring a newly resurrected Holtz up to speed on what he missed over the last couple of centuries.
First aired Nov 12, 2001

Lullaby
Holtz's rekindled crusade to wreak fiery vengeance upon Angel and Darla complicates the impending birth of the expecting couple's baby. With Darla's contractions getting closer together, even the Angel Investigations gang is surprised when she takes off without them for places unknown.
First aired Nov 19, 2001

Dad
Angel's problems multiply when he and the gang are trapped by several groups of enemies bent on kidnapping his son. Barricaded in the hotel, the group prepares for an inevitable attack. Meanwhile, Holtz goes about recruiting new help for his quest to destroy Angel.

Birthday
A powerful vision knocks Cordy out of her body, leaving her physical self in a vegetative state, but a guide (David Denman) on the astral plane offers her a new lease on life. Unfortunately, it's a life without her friends, who are busy trying to figure out how to get her back.
First aired Jan 14, 2002

Provider
Unprepared for the flood of business brought in by advertising, the Angel's crew splits up to cover more ground—and ends up being spread too thin for its own good.

Waiting in the Wings
As the gang looks into a bizarre ballet company, Angel and Cordelia are possessed by the spirits of tormented lovers embroiled in a torrid affair. Meanwhile, would-be suitors Gunn and Wesley put their respective moves on Fred, unaware of each other's designs.

Couplet
Exacerbating the tension caused by the office's two latest couplings, Cordy asks Angel to help her achieve the next level of intimacy with Groosalugg. Meanwhile, Fred and Gunn discuss the new wrinkle in their relationship and track an alleged cheating fiancé, whom they promptly lose during a brief make-out session.
First aired Feb 18, 2002

Loyalty
Wesley obsesses with protecting Connor and foiling the prophecy about Angel and his son. Meanwhile, Gunn and Fred investigate a purported vamp nest, unaware that the woman who hired them is one of Holtz's lackeys. Gunn and Fred also encounter a stumbling block in their burgeoning relationship.
First aired Feb 25, 2002

Sleep Tight
Utterly consumed by the prophecy that predicts Connor's death at Angel's hands, Wesley resorts to extreme measures to protect the vampire's son. Gunn and Fred witness Angel's frightening display of bloodthirsty behavior on a job. Believing the baby may be safer away from him for the time being, Angel welcomes Wesley's offer to take Connor for the night. Wesley, however, has something else in mind.
First aired Mar 4, 2002

Forgiving
The search is on for Angel's kidnapped son. The only way to retrieve Connor involves materializing the formless SahJahn, a demon partial to mass destruction, and making use of his powers. Meanwhile, Gunn and Fred concentrate on finding Wesley, hoping he can explain why he facilitated the abduction.
First aired Apr 15, 2002

Double or Nothing
A Faustian deal Gunn made several years before comes back to haunt him when a demonic repo man (Jason Carter) arrives to collect his soul — and threatens to use Fred as collateral. Meanwhile, Cordelia returns from her vacation with Groosalugg; Angel remains in a state of shock after losing his son; and Wesley faces a future bereft of his closest friends.
First aired Apr 22, 2002

The Price
The hotel is invaded by sluglike creatures that invade and fatally dry out their human hosts. The parasites are by-products of the dark forces Angel conjured trying to rescue his son. The crew barricade themselves inside to hunt down the creatures, but they soon learn that the only way to really see their quarry is to turn off all the lights.
First aired Apr 29, 2002

A New World
Connor returns to his father's world — as a teenager. But the reunion is not a happy one. Connor (Vincent Kartheiser) attacks Angel at first sight, fully intending to kill him. When he fails, the confused teen escapes to the mean streets of L.A. Meanwhile, the dimensional rift through which the young man traveled continues to cause trouble at the hotel.

Tomorrow
Connor's decision to live with his undead dad is forged in deception: Misled by the calculating Justine, the temperamental teen plots to exact undeserved revenge against Angel. Also, an increasingly powerful Cordelia comes to terms with the fact that she is in love with someone other than Groosalugg.
First aired May 20, 2002
