    Hampstead Heath walks
    Day - Most Tuesdays throughout the year weather permitting
    Meet - 10.00 am, Parliament Hill Cafe, on the Heath off Highgate Road past tennis courts and bowling green.
    Several of our members meet for an informal and friendly stroll on Hampstead Heath to see what birds are around. Members, non-members and visitors are welcome. Walks last 2 to 2 1/2 hours usually finishing near Kenwood House. Bring binoculars if you have them.

    Date - Usually 2nd Friday of each month
    Time - 7.15 pm to 9.15 pm (doors open 7.00 pm please arrive promptly to avoid disturbance)
    Place - Methodist Church, Agincourt Road, NW3 2NR. (corner of Agincourt Road and Lisburne Road)
    Transport - Buses 24, 46 and C11, 168, BR Silverlink stations at Hampstead Heath and Gospel Oak are 10 minutes walk away
    free parking locally after 6.30 pm
    Refreshments - tea/coffee (Fairtrade) and biscuits available in the interval
    Sales There is usually a raffle (£1 a strip of 5 tickets) - donations welcome. And speakers may bring cards, prints and books for sale.

    Date - usually 2nd Saturday of each month.

    Time - usually mid morning to mid afternoon, about 4pm.
    Distance - no more than a 4 mile stroll
    Cost - Marylebone Birdwatching Society does not charge for Local Outings but there is an entrance fee or request for a donation at some reserves we visit. There is a charge for non-members of the RSPB at most of their reserves.
    What to bring - Packed lunch and a drink. Warm, windproof and waterproof clothing, hat & gloves, stout walking shoes or boots, field guide, binoculars &/or telescope.
    Transport - venues can usually be reached by public transport but for some cars are needed for lifts from station to reserve.
    In view of timetable changes and engineering work, please check train times.
