14th November "Birds of the Tidal Thames" - David Darrell-Lambert is a lecturer, photographer and bird recorder who lives in Essex and knows the East London area well. Perfect for the next day’s local outing to Rainham Marshes.
9th January "Protecting London's Wildlife" - Tony Wileman will outline the London Wildlife Trust's work to encourage green initiatives.
As the talk is followed by our Annual General Meeting there is free admission. All welcome.
13th February "Wilderness Europe" - Trevor Gunton talks about migration from Africa to Northern Europe and looks at some of the conservation issues.
13th March The Brilliant Kingfisher" - Barrie Mason, keen photographer, has recorded kingfishers nesting over four seasons, along with other water birds.
3rd April

"Thinking Bigger for Wildlife" - Nigel Phillips, is head of acquisitions and landscape projects for the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust. His talk outlines the Trust's pioneering work to develop wildlife habitat beyond the boundaries of its reserves.
8th May "Stone Curlews & the UK Biodiversity Plan" - Robin Wynde describes his and the RSPB's work to conserve our small population of Stone Curlews.

Our last "Indoor Meeting" is actually OUTDOORS - see Local Outings for an evening stroll on Hampstead Heath
Earlier this season
September "Where Livingstone Once Walked" - Ann & Bob Scott showed us some of the wildlife of Rwanda and Burundi as they shared their experiences of training local game park workers.
October "Birds Behaving Badly" - Dominic Couzens gave us an amusing and informative talk on some of the lesser-known facts of bird life beyond the garden fence.
also in October Springett Memorial Lecture at Burgh House, New End Square.
"Putting the Fun into Fungi: the Fungi of Hampstead Heath" A talk from Andy Overall, the London Group Leader for the British Mycological Society and organiser of fungi workshops on the Heath.
