	Home Brigante History Members The Council Events Markland Email Directory Message Board member photos	What does it take to become a Brigand you ask? ...an attitude -Al Sweeney Ink Slinging SOB	Officers of the Bacchus Brigands The War Mongering Bastard: (president) Leader of the Bacchus Brigands with semi god-like authorities in all Brigand matters. This officer is to organize all functions possible and some that may not be possible but he is to try anyway. All official communications with other Markland groups , such as demos, wars and bribes, are to go through this office. *The Back Stabbing Wanna Be:* (vice president) The second in charge who is officially to drool in hopes of being War Mongering Bastard someday. This office really has little authority, and is here in case something happens to the semi god like leader. *Money Grubbing Whore:* (treasurer) This is the chief financial officer of the group. He is allowed to fondle and play with all moneys of the Brigands but not allowed to keep any of it. This officer is to plan and budget money that Brigands have, hence he has little to do but pick his nose. *Ink Slinging SOB:* (secretary) This officer is in charge of recording anything said at a meeting worth (in his feelings) recording and approving all art work. Since he is the originator of most of the art work, he needs to deliberate very little before approving it. Since the office is also picked of people who do not listen and or care we also have very few official records.

	The Council At the top of the food chain exists the Council. That of course is because it is made of the original members. All final decisions as to membership and all of the policies (if we ever have any) that the group as a whole follow are decided by the members of the council. All members may come to a council meeting and may give input if recognized (hell, we may even listen) but cannot vote. Most votes must be unanimous but that's not set in stone because we don't have a chisel. Members of other groups may also attend these meeting to ask of the Bacchus Brigands a boon or to invite them someplace or attempt to bribe us.
	The Bachi These are members of the Bacchus Brigands who have accepted the blessings of Bacchus and have shown a propensity to cavort with extreme gusto. They must go through a "Baptismal Ceremony" conducted by the "proper authorities" as to keep council amused.		The Brigante These are the warrior folk of the Bacchus Brigands and must go through training as a "man-at-arms". This man-at-arms is thrust upon a Brigante for training. Approval of such a match comes from the council and signified by The War Monger Bastard pointing and laughing. When the man-at-arms satisfies all the requirements he or she is properly debased in front of all. This is designed on an interpretation, mind you, of medieval fosterage and Frankish concept of knighthood.
	The Brigands These are all official members of the Bacchus Brigands to include those listed here, those not wishing to go any further, and those who are under the probation requirements, be it double secret or not, and those we are holding in the basement for ransom.
