My 1997 Show Results

#2 Walk/Trot Model - none #11 Walk/Trot Equitation - 1st Place #17 Walk/Trot Pleasure - 4th Place #23 Walk/Trot Horsemanship - 1st place #35 Walk/Trot Trail - 5th place (Jessi hates "the board") Walk/Trot Division - Reserve Champion!

I had a clinic with Pam before the show so I knew just what she was looking for -round circles, a forward, consistant pace, and good equitation. Everyone was messing up their horsemanship pattern (trot a figure eight) for some reason.

#11 Walk/Trot Equitation - 4th Place
(even the other trainers said I should've won, but the judge placed her drill team students over everyone else :-b)

#17 Walk/Trot Pleasure - scratched (heat stroke)

#23 Walk/Trot Horsemanship - scratched

#35 Walk/Trot Trail - 6th place

Most everyone left the show early because the judge was sooo unfair. It was rediculous. Jessi was awesome, I was so excited about pleasure class, but I couldn't ride in it! :( My instructor said that I hadn't ridden so well in my life as in my equ class.

#23 Walk/Trot Horsemanship - 3rd Place
(I would have won, but in an effort to keep the same trot pace as before during the ride off, I used too much leg and Jessi broke to the canter 3 times!)

#35 Walk/Trot Trail - 5th place

My very first cantering show!!! It was freezing cold outside and there was ice everywhere so their was a low turnout :) Just great for me though! My equ class had one other person, and my pleasure classes had a girl from my instructor's and another person in them.
