- Customer Service Technician, Audio Associates, Arlington, Virginia, US, 1979 to 1981. Stereo and audio repair technician, reduced service backlog from 5 weeks to 5 hours.
- Customer Service Manager, Myer Emco, Falls Church, Virginia, US, 1977 to 1979. Managed stereo and audio repair departments. With Steve LaPrade, head technician, won the Washington Consumer Checkbook's award for the highest quality and least expensive service in the Washington, DC area.
