	January Photos! 01/31/2001, Wednesday - An Active Month (age: 4 years, 2 months, 11 days) Christopher has been busy this month practicing his video games. His favorite now is Tarzan. He can spend hours playing it. When I come home from work he many times says with a rising voice, "Dad, I've been saving something for you." When he says that, I know he wants to play Tarzan on the computer. Christopher is such a video/computer generation that, while I'm reading him a book, if he needs to go get something he'll say "Pause it, please, Daddy!" We actually had some snow this month. The kids really enjoyed making tiny snowmen. Christopher went rollerskating for the first time in a rink. We signed up for a class and he learned a thing or two. He is still very shakey on the skates. We were unable to get skates that had wheels that were really tightened down, so he got very tired trying to stay upright. With practice, I'm sure he'll learn to love it. Last Saturday we went to the science museum and both kids really enjoyed it. There are lots of hands on things to play with and they really had a good time. It was Christopher's idea to go. He really wanted to see the robot dinosaurs. When we got there he was a little scared to go into the room. But he soon warmed up to it and liked seeing them and playing with the robot skeleton that had buttons you could use to make him move.

	Christopher seems to enjoy school and has many friends there. One of his favorite activities at school is riding the trikes and other ride on toys in the "Big Room".

	Favorite Foods:   Ham. Eggs and Toast mixed up. Corn dogs. Cheese Pizza. Bread & Jelly (no butter) Any juice and milk (lactose free) Is really into bananas now. peanut butter Ritz crackers. Favorite Movies-T.V./Characters: *New* Bob the Builder (Nickelodeon). Thomas the Tank Engine "Clifford". PBS has a new show about the giant red dog. It's a big hit with both kids. "Dragon Tales" on PBS is very popular. Christopher and Nicole hold hands while "going" to Dragon Land. Very cute Toy Story 2: Buzz Light Year. He's really enjoying both the movie and the Buzz toys. He also got Buzz Light Year tennis shoes. He also now has a new Woody doll (see picture right) that he really likes. Also likes most Disney preschool shows (Out of the Box, Rollie Pollie Ollie, Bear in the Big Blue House, etc.) Likes animal shows (Zoobomafoo, Kratts Creatures, Amazing Animals, etc.) . Favorite Activities: Computer games (Buzz Lightyear, Tarzan) Playing with trains (Brio & Thomas sets) Loves being outside. Loves Hot Wheels cars. He can "read" the logo so he knows which ones are the real thing. Computer Games: Thomas the Tank Engine. Fisher Price Toddler. Favorite Color: "Blue is my best"
