12/01/2000, Friday - Losing a Toy.

I took Christopher to Circuit City tonight to return an item. We went into the store and started looking
for a new item. Christopher brought along a little toy he was playing with. We were in the camera aisle when he
came to me upset. He was playing with his toy in the shelf holes where they insert the sample cameras. It had fallen
down inside the case which was locked. I was unable to reach it, so we had to ask a clerk to open the case for
us. I don't think he'll play around holes like that any more.
12/02/2000, Saturday - The Kindness of a Big Sister.

Christopher got into trouble today. He was sent to his room and he was quite upset. Nicole, feeling sorry
for him, gave him her "Lovie Bear" to wipe his tears on. It was such a sweet jesture because Nicole really
treasures that bear. She uses it to comfort herself too.
12/04/2000, Monday - Doctor Visit.

Christopher had his 4-year-old doctor appointment today. He got three vaccinations and was quite brave.
His new stats can be found below. That night we pulled off his bandaides. He had no trouble.
Nicole still has a really hard time taking sticky bandaides off.
12/05/2000, Monday - Age Old Question.

I spied Christopher opening and closing the refrigerator door, peering inside. I asked him what he was doing.
He replied, "seeing if the light turns off".
 12/20/2000, Wednesday - The Lie
(age: 4 years, 1 months, 0 days)
Christopher was caught in a lie the other day. He was coloring and Tina saw him mark on his hand. She told
him not to do it and he replied, "It slipped, Mom". She believed him, but then she noticed him really
coloring hard on his hand. She again told him to stop and he again replied without even looking up, "It slipped,
Mom." He got in big trouble for that one. The picture here shows the color on his hand that wouldn't wash
off.

"Clifford". PBS has a
new show about the giant red dog. It's a big hit with both kids.
"Dragon Tales" on PBS
is very popular. Christopher and Nicole hold hands while "going" to Dragon Land. Very cute
Toy Story 2: Buzz Light Year.
He's really enjoying both the movie and the Buzz toys. He also  got Buzz Light Year tennis shoes. He also now has a new Woody
doll (see picture right) that he really likes.
Also likes most Disney
preschool shows (Out of the Box, Rollie Pollie Ollie, Bear in the Big Blue House, etc.)
Likes animal shows (Zoobomafoo,
Kratts Creatures, Amazing
