12/02/98, Wednesday - Family Vacation
(age: 2 year, 13 days)
Last weekend was our family vacation to Galveston Island, Texas. We had a wonderful time. Click <here> to read more about the vacation. Christopher had a good time, but suffered from an ear infection. He enjoyed running on the beach and seeing the butterflies in the Jungle Pyramid at Moody Gardens.

12/21/98, Monday - Christmas Lights
(age: 2 year, 1 month, 1 day)
Christopher loves the outdoor Christmas lights. As we drive down the street
he'll yell out "More decorations!" We drove around a neighborhood where
all the culdesac's are decorated with some theme. The kids really liked
it. At that place, Christopher would also yell out "Behind you, Mom!"
Pretty funny. Nicole would get annoyed occationally by all his yelling.

12/30/98, Wednesday - Christmas Page + Christopher Quotes
(age: 2 year, 1 month, 10 day)
We had a wonderful Christmas. Please see our special Christmas page for more details!
Christmas 1998

Christopher is really learning how to talk. Here are a couple fun conversations our family has had in the last couple of days.

Yesterday Tina and Christopher had the following discussion about breakfast.

Mom: "Are you hungry for breakfast?"
Christopher: "Peanutbutter crackers!"
Mom: "That's not really a breakfast food. How about something different?"
Christopher: "Cookies!"

This morning Christopher woke up very early. He was up and dressed by the time I was ready to leave for work. So I hugged him and said good-bye, then hugged Tina. Usual stuff. I looked back and Christopher and waved. He looked up and, very happily, said "Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!"
