Story :)
A city in the near future. A building of a cult (new religion) with the sign "The God is Seeing You". Suddenly, a police force rushes in and a shooting ensures. 2 policemen found a girl with her wings badly damaged. They saved her and later broke her out of the police station. Avoiding explosions and shots aimed at them, they finally made it out of the city and the winged girl fianlly flies away.
This is an animated MTV for Chage & Aska hit song 'On Your Mark' ,directed by Miyazaki-san. Running time is 6 minutes and 40 seconds. Released on 15 July 1995. It is featured with 'Mimi o Sumaseba'.

The future in the anime was painted as a city underground (i think) It seems like above ground, it is unsafe due to radioactive substances polluting the air and radiation etc.. There is also an enclosed building above ground. Think that is the source of the radiation. However, the underground city is emm... kind of in a bad shape. The 2 policemen also looked very much like Chage & Aska. ^_^ I think the people wants the 'angel' for testing or something. The part when the trio got out of the city, more and more trees appeared as they travel further and further away. The contrast of Nature and the dark city is quite overwhealming. Finally. when the 'angel' flew up to the blue sky where she belong, it gives a real sense of Freedom.
On Your Mark is one of the best anime (though short) that i have ever seen. It is also the first anime i saw when it was aired at the local TV station with Chage and Aska songs. (that was how i got into anime ^^). In all, it is very well choreographed with the song. ( Luv it ! )
