June, 1999 was an arduous month for me; my depression was being exacerbated by familial and financial issues. I was at odds with my parents, and my sister, and to top it all off, I was waiting and waiting to get paid from the agencies I contract with. I decided to start an online journal as a means of trying to cope productively. Through designing the site, I was teaching myself a lot of new skills. In writing journal entries, I was getting back in touch with a long repressed passion. The entire process was, and continues to be a journey of self expression. I have never looked back. Subscribe:
