And so it Begins - June 28, 1999

I have spent most of today working on the site, and I must say, things are starting to come together. There is a lot still left to do, and I am not sure I am going to keep things the way they are, but it is a beginning.

My depression has been increasing as of late, and working on the site has been helping keep my mind off of the triggers. One of them happens to be my finances. I am owed a substantial amount of money by the organizations I do contract work for, but over the weekend had to sell CD's for gas money and food for the critters. It is frustrating living in a state of feast or famine. Further, it has been a week since I have had contact with my sister, Ms. Crabtree (I can't wait to get the cast section done). This has as well exacerbated my depression. My sister and I have a very tenuous relationship, and I will expand on this further in the cast section and later entries. Nevertheless, the last time I saw her, she was yet again verbally abusive, and I have had to impose some strong boundaries. In her online journal, as is typical for her, she merely writes about feeling sorry for herself, and how much she misses the dogs. However, no where does she take responsibility for the behaviour leading to my distancing myself from her.The Goddess believes she has a personality disorder, and I am beginning to agree with this assessment.

The Goddess and I have been talking a lot on the phone this weekend in preparation for our wedding. This has helped keep my sanity in tact (at least partially). I miss her a great deal, and cannot wait to trek the 1000kms to visit her in July.

In closing, I would like to wish my best friend, Lowlandz, a Happy Birthday. He turns 30 tomorrow, and I cannot wait to poke fun at him. Be not afraid, however, Lowlandz. It is not going to be as scary as you may think.
