is a time of day when the heavens are dark, and all is peaceful without

It is a moment when little stirs save a cool gentle breeze, or the warmth of a lover's breath.
There is a time of day when the veil between the concrete and the spiritual, the physical and the metaphysical, the known and the feared, this dimension and countless others, is at its thinnest and most permeable
And, finally, there is an instant when many soundly sleeping are often jarred awake from a deep, tranquil slumber, feeling confusion, disorientation, trepidation, that someone...something, is there with them.
