Philosophy IBA believes that the continuous development of professional, dedicated managers is the most important prerequisite for the development of a developing country like Pakistan. Towards meeting this objective, IBA endeavors to select individuals who can contribute positively to the Pakistani society. Graduates coming out with such a bent of mind invariably distinguish themselves as catalysts of progress for the organization and the country. The Institute has proven that education is an essential service whose supply should be continued even during emergencies or disturbances. As a result of this philosophy, there has been no unscheduled closure of IBA since 1979 and classes have been held in the most difficult situations. Regularity, punctuality and conformity to schedules and dead lines are axiom for the staff and students so much that the participants complain of restlessness during holidays and come back joyously to the rigors of IBA. This exactness indicates a strong commitment to professional excellence among IBA students, a commitment that forms the cornerstone of IBA's philosophy. The initial absorption of students through a methodical, merit-based admission procedure, their subsequent training in a rigorous academic environment and ultimate on-time completion of education has now become a routine that may be termed as IBA's way of life. |
