Shay Addams was one of the pioneers of what would become the cluebook industry. In 1984, Shay came up with the idea of a black and white newsletter and magazine which was written for and by a tight group of hard core, fanatic gamers. QuestBusters was a group of gamers who when confronted with a problem in their games sought out other gamers for hints, cheats, and walkthrough solutions. A series of hint books was also the product of QuestBusters. A complete list of Addams' works can be found by typing his name at any on-line bookstore, but unless you go to eBay or Yahoo you won't be able to buy them. Fearing the Internet would kill his magazine, Shay quit and is rummored to have become a professonal gambler. The QuestBusters journal was a staple of early computer games and was published monthly. If anyone has an entry for Dondra in the Questbusters journal, a scan would be most appreciated. Below is the entry in Shay's second release in the Quest for Clues series, Quest for Clues II. Some of it is written in code where b=a c=b...z=a and so on. A PDF downloadable version will also be available so you can print it out and use it. This article was written by Bruce Smith who alerted me of this solution. He also has a website which can be visited by going to Click here to go to Bruce's Website.
