About Linda's WorldLinda'a World has been created for my educational purposes. I wanted to make a website so that I can practice my HTML and Javascript knowledge. It has also brought out my creative thinking, since I had to come up with ideas to put in this site. It has taken me quite awhile to finish this project. Mostly because I didn't really have the time to just sit and surf the net and write scripts all day (I have this other project call WORK that takes priority over anything else). Yes, life is quite unfair. But, whenever I was able to, I would add a little here and a little there to this site. My first dilemma was, 'What the heck am I going to put on my site?'. Of course everyone says pictures. That's what websites are all about. And yes, I did put a lot of pictures in my site, but what else? I wanted something funny, something that would make people come back to my site. My friend Darrell has a really cool site and I borrowed one of his ideas (that's the ranting page). It's pretty good therapy. I get to write about something that really bothers me and hopefully, others who read it can relate to it. But what else? Suggestions are always welcome. |
