ORDERING INFORMATIONPRICESPrices are in Canadian funds and do not include postage. For an idea of what your order may cost, check out: Currency ExchangeORDERINGSTEP-BY-STEP1. Make a list of the things you would like to order and their prices. Send me an e-mail (freesociety@hotmail.com) with this list and your full address. 2. I will e-mail you back with the total cost of your order with prices for available types of shipping. 3. E-mail me back to let me know if you're ordering and if so what method of shipping you would prefer. 4. Send payment. 5. I will hold your items for 10 days (within Can/US, two weeks international) from the date of this confirmation e-mail. After which the stuff will go back in the distro box.
ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT
DISTRIBUTIONWhen it comes to vinyl/cds I am interested in distributing stuff released by bands or DIY labels that I feel have similar intentions as my own behind them. However, I am not always rolling in money. If I am familar with your band or label I may be more inclined to want to buy a bunch of your releases up front. Otherwise, I may be interested in trading releases I carry in my distro for several (at least 3) copies of whatever vinyl/cds you released. If this is undesirable, I may be willing to take some of a releases on consignment, however this is not always my favorite way of doing things. It is great if you have unlimited patience. Another thing to bear in mind is that I am primarily interested in anarcho punk, crust, hardcore, punk, etc. Although I may have a few things that fall in the category, I'm less interested in distributing emo and I'm especially not interested in distributing bands using the DIY scene as a stepping stone to bigger and better things.For demos/cd-rs I prefer to trade one copy of a release I have produced for one copy of whatever tape/cd-r you are selling with the purpose of making our own copies in mind. This is preferable to sending multiple copies because postage is ridiculous these days and as long as any money made is kept within our scene for the purpose of perpetuating and feeding it's growth, I am fine with it. I am also willing to receive freebies but I would like to get lyrics with that and a bio so I know what type of band/people I'm helping to distribute.
ETC...INTENTIONSAs is explained in the "about" section, I have no intentions of "profit" in this endeavour. I do it because I love music, and I value and believe in many of the messages presented in the releases I distribute. This is not a fastfood distro. I try my best but anyone who wants to order stuff must remember that I work an 8-5 5/week job and I have things I like doing as well. If you want the fastfood distro, I hear you can order crust on Barnes and Noble online or something.
