This is the first Lotus I
purchased. It is a 1972 Twin Cam, with the model 352 four speed. I
bought it in March,1984 with 43,000 miles on it. In about 1987, I
rebuilt the front suspension, rear suspension, rear hubs, and engine.
When rebuilding the engine, I used the European pistons, that have a
10.25:1 compression ratio. I also installed a set of aftermarket cams I
purchased from Kelvedon Motors. If I recall, they were a TK2, but I
don’t remember the specs.
During this I also replaced all the brake hoses installed NEW vacuum
boosters that I bought from Dave Bean Engineering. They cost me a
fortune. |
