Vampire, A Shadow to Most

I AM BUT A SHADOW TO MOST, LIKE AIR, MIST OR AN INVISIBLE GHOST.

I STALK THE NIGHT IN SEARCH OF BLOOD, WAITING FOR THE CRIMSON FLOOD. THAT LIFE GIVING LIQUID THAT GLISTENS SO RED EVEN THOUGH ITS VESSELS LONG SINCE DEAD.

THE DEATH OF ANOTHER GIVES LIFE TO ME, BUT WHAT'S THE POINT WHEN I CANT WITNESS THE SUN OR THE SEA?

I LIE JUST NOW, I MUST CONFESS, I CAN SEE THE OCEAN, BUT IT IS NOT AS I ONCE SAW, NOW IT IS JUST A POOL OF BLACK DEATH.

I WANDER THE WORLD WITHOUT A FRIEND, SEARCHING FOR LIFE TO DESTROY SO THAT I MAY LIVE ON.

HOW LONG? FOUR HUNDRED, FIVE HUNDRED? AS LONG AS CAN BE, YOU CANT UNDERSTAND UNLESS YOU'VE BEEN WHERE I'VE BEEN.

IVE SEEN EVERY CITY IN THE WORLD ALBEIT IN THE DARK. KILL, KILL, KILL ITS LIKE ITS ALL I'VE EVER KNOWN, WHY DO I DO IT WHEN IM STILL ALL ALONE.

SO I SEARCH NOW FOR ONES LIKE ME, BEINGS WHO SHARE MY DARK, BLOODSTAINED MISERY.

LOOKING FOR ANSWERS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THE ONE THAT MADE ME BEFORE I GOT THIS OLD, LIKE AN ADULT WHO CANT READ I WANDER THE EARTH NOT EVEN KNOWING HOW I CAME TO BE.

QUESTIONS STILL UNANSWERED, WHERE CAN I FIND THEM, WHO COULD THEY BE, MAYBE THERE'S NO ONE, MAYBE ITS JUST ME.

THEN IN THE DISTANCE I HEAR A SCREAM, AS FAST AS I CAN I ARRIVE ON THE SCENE, I ARRIVE TO FIND ANOTHER LIKE ME, ONLY MORE SWIFT AND CUNNING LIKE A CAT WITH A MOUSE SETS A TRAP FOR HIS VICTIM, ONLY WHEN THEY TRUST HIM, ONLY THEN WILL HE POUNCE.

ALL MY QUESTIONS ANSWERED BY THIS VISCOUS KILLER, INTRODUCES ME TO MORE OF OUR KIND AS I GROW EVER SO BITTER

BUT THEN I LEARN SOMETHING FROM ONE OF THEM, SOMETHING VERY INTERESTING, HE SAID TO ME THIS. NO CREATURE UNDER GOD IS QUITE LIKE US, NONE SO LIKE GOD HIMSELF

AT FIRST I DID NOT UNDERSTAND BUT NOW IT IS CLEAR, FOR JUST AS GOD CREATED, SO TO CAN WE, WE CAN BRING NEW LIFE JUST AS WE BRING DEATH.

NOW HEAR WE ARE, YOU BREATHING YOUR FIRST VAMPIRE BREATHS AND JUT AS I DRANK FROM YOU, YOU KNOW DRINK FROM ME.

BUT LOOK OUTSIDE NOW WITH YOUR VAMPIRE EYES, YOU ARE NOT WHAT YOU ONCE WERE YOU ARE NOW AN INVISIBLE GHOST, LIKE AIR, MIST, YOU ARE VAMPIRE, A SHADOW TO MOST.

(Untitled)

Sometimes when you feel there's no body around to listen to your thoughts and feelings;

it makes you feel alone.

No one wants to take the time to actually get to know the real you.

They dont understand how I'm feeling or how much I just need to be held.

To have it all taken away in one moment and pretend that nothing has changed...

You feel like you can tell people anything but they still wont inderstand all the sadness, all the pent up anger.

All you can think about is whats life like without your old friends.

Will they miss me?

Do they care?

Yes and no.

Its so hard transfering to a new place having everything for the past four years thrown knowing you just have to grow up.

Hero

What is a hero

A greek sandwich eating samurai

A hobo

Gatsby

Great Gatsby

He's Grrrrreat

Tony the tiger

Crouching Tiger

Hidden Tony

Hidden Greek Sandwich

Crouching Hobo

"Can I pet the rabbits George?"

I wanna hear about the rabbits

I wanna hear about everything

Why is the sky blue?

What's the movie of the week?

Dude, Where's MY Message Board?

Why does everything seem so blurry sometimes?

Why aren't there more heroes in a world that so desperately needs them?

Maybe it's because we're dumb.

Maybe it's because we haven't accepted Street Fighter II as our personal savior.

Maybe because we look to Sandwich eating, cereal endorsing, Samurai Hobo Millionaires who have obsessions with furry things.

I think it's probably just because we are dumb.

But it's life, and that's all it'll ever be.

And life is full of stuff.

Like Samurai and Tigers

And hobos and millionaires.

Everyone can be a hero.

Because I guess we all fit in, in our own "special" way.

Even if you do like Greek food.

Death At Her Throat

She lay there alone

Cold wind blew in

Like icicles in December

It happened so suddenly

She had weakened

So suddenly

Her body

So suddenly

Had gone

So suddenly

Breathing her last breath

Unbeknownst within her depth

Shattered, nothing left

Encircling her....death

No Title

Falling from the sky

little morsels up so high

their beauty can't deny

I turn to see and sigh

Now in motion

running fast

winds picked up

move the mast

All is calm

the race if over

now for luck

there is no clover

The race of life

cycle of the water

the race of love

where will I find her?

No Title

Walking down the path

I stop and think of you

Remembering your face

And my pants disappear without a trace!

BATMAN STOLE MY PANTS!

Mistake?

What have I done?

Been taken up with a foolish heart

only to be dropped again.

Falling like an autumn leaf,

dropping from the branch the held on

for oh, so long.

Realizing that promises

are not contracts and

kisses aren't forever.

And a voice can be sarcastic

and not sound a bit off tune.

Landing on my back hurts

but it's getting back up

that'll kill me.

But I'm still alive...

And I'm slowly getting stronger...

And my heart will mend...

And time will turn over another chapter...

I Still Think of You

I still think of you.

Not of a whimsical matter that can be tossed aside

But as an everlasting thought dancing in my mind

With the thought of you,

I bring back fond memories of a time long ago.

So foreign in the eyes of the past,

Yet so familiar in the heart of the past.

I think of the times that we cared enough to say those special words,

the compromise of thoughts,

our heart and soul speaking to each other.

I still think of you.

Not as someone I once shared my life with in a dream

But as a person that I hope I can share my life with once again.

The hope still burns bright,

A love that can be rekindled...

Would you want this too?

A love so deep and strong,

A relationship worth fighting for,

worth trying for again.

I ask this all

Because I still think of you.
