Dirty [Jerk]

(NOTICE: THIS POEM HAS BEEN EDITED FOR CONTENT, AND SOME WORDS HAVE BEEN STARRED OR REPLACED BY THE TREEJUMPER FOR FEAR OF OFFENSE.)

You said I'd never get hurt,

But you're just a dirty [jerk].

Lying easily,

"loving" easier,

using my every hope,

every dream,

for your own advantages.

did you ever really care,

ever really love?

was I just a conquest,

a prize,

or just a game,

never real?

you were full of **** in the end.

out of my heart,

out of my mind,

out of my life and from memory die.

love's only ever been a dream.

why?

Fantasy

Patterns of light on the forest floor

Shining through the branches of the trees

The deer slowly lifts it's head

Cautious and alert

Quiet and still

A feeling in its eye

Unrecognizable

Peer into its mind

Take a closer look

For what you often mistake for friendship

Often turns out to be love

Broken-love song

Still in love with the ghost of your fire

I quietly keep my love inside

Wishing not to be conspicuous.

My heart twists in pain

You often betray my heart

Quite unknowingly

For I will not be a burden

My tears will drown my pain

I will be a faithful friend

There when needed

Silent in my affection

Learn to pretend that love doesn't matter

These are only a few of the many poems I have collected from my friends and written personally, and they will change oh... monthly.
