Problem solving skills:

Communication skills:

environmental degradation and reduce man-made pollution in and around work place

monitor the degree of environmental
pollution

preserve eco-system in and around
industries and project sites

develop scientific methods to control
pollution

implement various production processes
which will be within the prescribed limits of soil, air, water and noise
pollution
o
enhance the quality of environment by
adopting proven processes from time to time
o
comply with existing laws, legislations
and statutes, rules and regulations of state and central governments in
protecting environment

and reuse the materials wherever possible

posses knowledge of disposing industrial

The technicians who pass out from the polytechnics will be able to:

sensitize the user groups towards
efforts required to ensure sustainability of the project
o
comprehend the role of government as
facilitator rather than provider
o
analyse participatory approach for
community- and user-based management
o
understand the basic issues related to
sector reforms in project implementation and management.
