GUAM*

Catholicism was introduced in Guam in 1668, after the Spanish conquest. Until 1902 it was subject to the Philippine diocese of Cebu and afterwards to the Apostolic Prefecture of the Mariana. In 1911 it became a separate Apostolic Vicariate.
