Compaction Cones | ||||||||||||||||
Upheaval "Dome" is not a dome at all! The structure is of INTERCEPTING "ruffled" CONES! The outer cone is quite steep, the inner cone is much shallower. Have the "Salt Dome Scientists" even noticed this? Do they have ANY explanation? My explanation is that there were three concentric impacts! This is a small comet footprint! |

1. The comet's frozen outer atmosphere hit first, driving a large area down to form Robert's Rift. 2. an inner layer of space rubble, slowed down by the first impact, hit second, forming the outer compression cone with shallower sides than Robert's Rift, which is almost straight down. 3. the core, slowed by the two previous impacts, hit third, producing the even shallower inner cone, and the sand jets. Reverberations between the three impacts scalloped or "ruffled" the sand and rocks involved. This is why I believe this area needs to be renamed as "Upheaval Crater Complex." |
