The girls of Sigma Rho Delta held their July meeting last Saturday and boy did we have fun! Some new friends joined us and some old friends came back so we could be together again. We had a grand time catching each other up and then we went to dinner. Good food, great friends… It just doesn’t get any better than this.

This is Micha and her lovely wife Betty. There is just something special about a couple who is so happy together. They are both so lucky to have each other and we were lucky to have them come and join us.

Angela has been working very hard for more than 20 years to make things better for T Girls so that they can get out into the sunshine and find each other, and the fun we can have together now on evenings like this is due in no small way to her tireless efforts and belief that we have a right to express ourselves just like everybody else. And of course the prettiest smile of the evening belonged to our server, Debbie. She is waitressing while she goes to school to become a nurse. My, with a smile like that, it wouldn’t matter what was wrong with you, she’d make you feel better instantly. She is such a sweet gal, and I think she had every bit as much fun as we did and I know each of us had just a little more fun because of her skills and her warm sweet personality. You don’t have to look very far to see what’s so great about being a girl.
