Prototyping.

As with last week's work, this week entails reading the Green Zone materials. These describe the organisation of software projects around prototyping life cycles and methodologies. These are particularly appropriate for multimedia/web developments, although they are difficult to use on a module such as this one in which aspects of web development are being encountered for the first time - so we tend to use a more linear process than would actually be the case in a real situation. You should, however, be aware of the processes required for disciplined prototyping, and be aware that these processes don't just 'happen naturally' as software is hacked together - prototyping requires just as much management (if not more) than linear, waterfall models.
