realities.

As for looks, I would be about 5'8", give or take an inch or two depending on my shoes... I have blonde hair that is to my waist now, and I always seem to end up sitting on, courtesy of my good friends Capiz and Scott. My eyes are this funny green blue grey color, and they are schizofrenic, so they can never really be just ONE. But thats a lot like me... take my nicknames...

At Home they all call me Missy. Now here at school, noone will call me that. They say "it don't SUIT you, Mel!" So at school I am know as Miss Meliss, Socialist Mel, and all sorts of other strange nicknames, ranging from Mewifa to Melistyca... So... whatever.

HOME
Home is actually Glastonbury Connecticut. THE most boring town in the history of boring towns. Filled with little rich people in big houses and restaurants. There is a pretty good band scene here, even though I was never in a band til school...

Back at home, I am the universal Gap girl at store #2330. My manager, Brooke, is one of the sweetest people I know, and I miss working for her. I was a sales associate for a year and then moved on to bigger and better things, like VISUALS and STOCK. I love doing the visuals and merchandising. It seems to relax me ever so much. And I can undress a man in under 30 seconds, a plus to any job.

FAMILY
I come from one of the greatest families ever. No broken home for me- my parents are going on to their 25th wedding anniversay, which I should have been planning, but they are going on a trip I think, which is just as good. My family is really there for each other, and I can't think of any better way to grow up.

My father, Keith is a high school teacher, and a lacrosse coach, moonlighting as a salesman at KB Toys, because he gets good discounts. He has an incurable addiction to Star Trek and X-Files and Millennium, all of which have rubbed off on me. He is a great person in general, who is never too busy to sit down with a cup of tea and a listening ear for me, my sister, or even my zany friends.

My mother, Pam, is a first grade teacher and just the sweetest woman you will ever meet. She loves spending time with me and my sister, and would love to spend her days just hanging out without the stress of every day life. So summers in my house were always a pleasant time.

My sister, Stephanie is my lucky star. I love her so much, and miss her to no end. She is my protoge, in everything, from her gift at languages to her gruesome taste in movies. (Her favorites include Seven, The Silence of the Lambs and Blade) Oh, and she's eleven. She is also a gifted cello player and a very succesful beanie baby hunter. I really do miss her, but I think that she misses me more.

COLLEGE
I go to The American University, fondly called by us students, AU. Ah, AU. Home of the Eagles. And like our motto says- "once an eagle, always an eagle!" um... sure. I think that I'll be a turkey, thanks. AU is a great school. We have one of the best International Service schools in the nation, and lately campus has been really entertaining. We've had a suidice, a hit and run an arson and my best friend's floor flooded. So, sure. Campus life here is GREAT. For more on my crazy school, go to Adult life.
