Here is our 5th record to date and the second of 1999. How many other bands do you know that are so prolific? And this is quality stuff, man! No crap here....

Since last you've heard from me, I've met a really nice girl and started to feel good about myself... and I've graduated to playing *TWO* strings on the guitar. Tracks 1, 3, 8 [a cover of Hayden Desser's "Choking"], & 10 are all examples of my two string accomplishments. Track #6 is also interesting in that it is the first time I've ever written a song for acoustic guitar [though only for one string], magnus organ, and my ever-popular homemade drum set. No one can tell they aren't real drums.

There are several live recordings preserved on this album, two of which come from my last live show which occured in February at Drips' Coffeehouse [as always]. With a little help from Travis Reid on drums and Ryan Morris on guitar, I managed to make a complete fool of myself because I was totally unprepared. Although it was a terrible show, I salvaged "The Mt. Goats Song" and "Lonely Girl" for your listening displeasure. The other "Had a Car" is a little ditty written in about 20 minutes on a Saturday and presented on a Tuesday at Dirps'. Track #7 is an improvisational piece recorded on my GE cassette recorder with me playing the rim of a snare drum and others playing guitar, bass, and cello. Very nice if you ask me. You'll have to hear it for yourself. Expect to hear more from these guys in the future. And finally #12 is another improv featuring Ben Teeter and his massive keyboard, and me making various sounds with my mouth, a saxophone mouthpiece, a clarinet mouthpiece, and various extentions of these. There were several other interesting things we recorded that night, but I accidentally recorded over them like an idiot. Expect more also from Ben and I. There is still a lot that I haven't destroyed.

All this along with some remnants of my past "relationship" and yet another version of Tulllycraft's "Superboy & Supergirl" [done quite noisly on my homemade-electric-acoustic-two-string guitar], you have our 5th record:
