- Aagu - Young stone giant whose clan lives on the edge of the Lake of Shadows in the Underdark. While the rest of his clan is reserved, Aagu is friendly and curious. The party left him behind at the shores of the Lake of Shadows.
- Aethilmir Rumanesil - Elven noble in the Silver Valley. Hired Maethros and Caspian for a mission.
- Ailen - Female rogue in Caernigan who served as hired muscle for Catellion. Eldrin used magic to control her and turn her into an ally.
- Alward - A merchant in Caernigan who has done business with K'ieron. May deal on the black market. Speaks slowly but seems quite intelligent.
- Andron Bladesemmer - Heir to the Bladesemmer fortune. This young Rothvale noble has it out for the party.
- Anteashara - A female porter in Caernigan that works with Catellion. She seems to have powerful abilities related to shadow and has battled the party on several occasions, but her amazing ability to disappear in plain sight has allowed her to escape each time.
- Baltar - Bushy-bearded ranger of the Shield who operates in the Rothvale area. Also called Bloodhound by some.
- Baron Barojin - The ruler of the Dwarven Lands, the northernmost region of the kingdom of Ellewyr. He asked the party for help with drow raids on his lands.
- Belthara - A sphinx in the Serpentcoil mountains who agreed to let the adventurers use her lair for shelter during a strong storm, but only after they successfully answered one of her riddles.
- Berrod - A spy in Rothvale who worked for the Mistrivvens at one time. He has spiky blonde hair with a braided tail.
- Lord Burdoth - A nobleman in Rothvale who the party helped rescue from being the victim of a political plot.
- Caspian Gallus - A silver-haired elf who owns The Bard's Guild in Caernigan. He is apparently related to the Caspians of the Silver Valley somehow.
- Catellion - A silver-haired caravan broker in Caernigan. At least that is what his cover was before he turned out to be a mage. He ambushed the party with some thugs before fleeing. He was later found in a complex underneath a large graveyard where he was feebleminded by a spell from K'ieron, but he then wandered off before the group could capture him and has not been seen since.
- Ceric - Ranger working with a band of giants between Rothvale and Corlis. He and his minions were defeated by the party. His journal documented the search for a potion of some importance being shipped through the area.
- Chovin - Travelling merchant in Lurland. The party saved him after he had been waylaid by bandits.
- Cylyria Hawklyn - High priestess of St. Cuthbert in Rothvale. She seems to have a bad limp, and is attracted to Peddeshar. Peddeshar and the group owe her a favor in return for her help.
- Dalar the Bold - The name of a wizard or sorcerer who was a member of an adventuring group that attacked the party in the dwarven ruins that was Malaeragoth's home. He bore a note that contained instructions from Tryphena.
- Damius - A powerful cleric of Vecna who had Sandar Kathklan framed as part of an unfolding plot to sieze control of Corlis. He was later defeated in combat by the party, though his superior escaped.
- Darren Hartmil - Mayor of Durvik's Pass. Hired the party to clear the mines and stop the burning plague.
- Dessa sik-Morcane - Drow noblewoman the party rescued from captivity. She later betrayed her erstwhile allies and attacked Tarrin when the party was in combat with powerful drow forces.
- Devlin - Youthful tracker from Oakhurst who helped the party follow twig blights.
- Lord Dhelt - High priest of Hextor at the temple in Rothvale. Not a Nice Guy.
- Dorina T'sarran - Vampire priestess of Kiaransalee, the drow goddess of undeath and vengeance. She and her forces were defeated in Szith Morcane by the adventurers. Her mother is Irae T'sarran.
- Durnn - Leader of the goblins that were in the Sunless Citadel. Killed by the party.
- Elmareen Whitestone - Resident mage in Corlis. She is a large woman who spends much of her time researching. She has helped the party out with magical items and spells before. She was also manipulated to cause Sandar Kathklan's death.
- Evan - Half-elven miner in Durvik's Pass sick with the burning plague. Caspian had some unknown private business with him.
- Ferrin - Ferrin is a bard the party met in Corlis at the Black Banner inn. He has been very helpful to the party in the past and seems to be trustworthy.
- Fiorina Gannilo - The daring captain of the Morning Rose, a small sailing ship that plies the waters of the Westing Reach. Rolan and Aramil traveled on her ship to a port in the Fallen Lands and helped her fight off a sea orc pirate vessel. Vandric is her shipmage.
- Galliad - Journeyman who vanished in Caernigan while carrying important documents for Kathkallan. The party discovered he had been murdered.
- Garon - Tubby innkeeper of the Ol' Boar Inn in Oakhurst. Very nosy and talkative.
- Garrell Corrannon - The head of the Corrannon family and a wealthy landowner in southern Lurland. The Corrannons have sent several sons into the service of Hieroneous as paladins of the Lord of Valor. The party recovered a magical longsword that was crafted for one of these sons as a gift for when he took his vows. Peddeshar now carries this weapon.
- Gheldieg - Mysterious information broker in Caernigan who has provided the party with important clues in the past.
- Gotun - Friendly stone giant the party met in the Serpentcoil mountains. He seems to have a fondness for chickens, and he likes magical tricks.
- Grailithor - Elven paladin who rides a giant eagle mount, Gyrull. Met the party in a snow-covered vale high in the northern Serpentcoil mountains. Helped the party fight against the frost giants and ice gnolls found there, putting an end to their winter-summoning magic and freeing their dwarven prisoners.
- The Grey Masque - Legendary thief that works the Lurland area. His/her exploits are famous for their outrageous nature. Leaves a grey silk domino masque at the scene of each crime.
- Grimbar - A human mercenary who worked for the dwarves long ago. He became famous for his exploits in the defense of the dwarves and was well-rewarded with powerful arms and armor. The party found some dwarven-made platemail that once belonged to him.
- Gunther - Overly enthusiastic merchant who seems to be a big fan of the party's exploits. He and his two unfriendly bodyguards accompanied the party with a caravan from Corlis.
- Gwenadain - Somewhat odd wizard in Caernigan. She has an extensive library dealing with magical items unique and common and has done repair work on Dreambane for Aramil. She carries around a potted geranium under one arm.
- Halath Artemel - Mayor of Corlis and patron of the Artemel family.
- Hardeth - Acting head of The Shield, works with Lord Orvas. Friendly to the party.
- Harlyn - Information broker in Corlis. His knowledge seems mostly limited to local matters.
- Herbert - Shifty-looking wizard (?) the party met while hunting for a red dragon's lair in the Serpentcoil mountains. Claimed to be a sage from Madregoth specializing in dragons. Larin seemed to be his guide.
- Irae T'sarran - The high priestess of Kiaransalee, the drow goddess of undead and vengeance. Her daughter is Dorina T'sarran. She is rumored to be in her stronghold in the ruins of Maerimydra, working on a powerful spell named the Great Revenance.
- Jhannon - Ghostly spirit of a paladin the party found while exploring ruins near Corlis. He died while seeking the Gauntlet of Arion.
- Kallia - Druid who lives in the Serpentcoil foothills near Corlis. She has helped Tarrin out with minor things in the past.
- Sir Kammis - Knight of the kingdom of Ellewyr. Met the party briefly on the road while heading towards the Fallen Lands.
- Kathkallan - A merchant from Breconport who deals in something called royal jelly produced by giant bees. The party was hired by him in Caernigan to recover some important missing contracts. Though the contracts were never found, the party did find some other contracts they sold him.
- Kenric - An archmage who lived in the area that is now known as the Fallen Lands. His wife was slain by creatures from the demiplane of dreams. To gain vengeance he crafted Dreambane, a powerful magical longsword now wielded by Aramil. After Dreambane's intelligence was restored, Aramil and Rolan undertook a journey to the Fallen Lands and found the ghostly remainder of Kenric deep in some ruins. After performing a mission for him, Kenric gave them some information they had been looking for.
- Kerowyn Hucrele - Matron of the Hucreles, a prominant merchant family in Oakhurst. Her daughter and son disappeared while exploring the Sunless Citadel.
- Kurgoth Hellspawn - The current ruler of Maerimydra. He (or it) is an enemy of Irae T'sarran.
- Larin - Big, dark-skinned axeman the party met with Herbert in the Serpentcoil mountains. He gifted Aramil with a magical arrow when they parted ways.
- Lena - Human priestess of Pelor (god of healing) who tends a shrine in Durvik's Pass. She is friendly to the party and asked them to check on some missing friends of hers.
- M'dok - Chieftan of the kobolds who invaded the mines of Durvik's Pass. He is a spellcaster. He & his sons escaped into the wilderness after being captured by the party and thrown into a jail.
- Malaeragoth - A large fiendish black dragon that laired in some dwarven ruins underneath an artificial swamp high in the Serpentcoil mountains. Defeated by the party in combat.
- Mareth Audella - The wealthy youngest son of the powerful Audella family in Corlis. He is a friendly merchant who deals primarily in textiles and has hired the party as caravan guards. He appears even younger than his age of 28 years.
- Maric Agravaine - The head of the Agravaine merchant family in Caernigan. He is married to Jessa Agravaine and seems to be an ally of K'ieron's.
- Meepo - Kobold the party captured in the Sunless Citadel. He was very worried about his pet 'dragon' that was stolen by goblins. He was later slain in a combat between the other kobolds and the party.
- Missa - Villager in Oakhurst, friend of Sharwyn Hucrele, who vanished with the rest of her adventuring party in the Sunless Citadel.
- Mogan - Unknown person, Ferrin thinks he is in Karlon Keep, to whom an intercepted note was addressed.
- Palira - Resident mage at the Foothills Monastery. She is friendly with the party, especially Selwyn, who she grew up with.
- Perillar - Halfling priest of Fharlanghn at the temple in Corlis. He seems to like to swap stories of travel and adventure. Tarrin has a gut feeling of distrust about him.
- Pyrix - A fire mage known to visit Rothvale occasionally. May be involved in spying upon the party. Was also involved with Damius' machinations in Corlis.
- Rendal - Member of the thieves' guild in Corlis. Was beat up by the party in an attempt to get information out of him. Later acted as a go-between for his boss (presumably the boss of the thieves' guild) and the party.
- Renfred - Well-mannered caravan master who works for Mareth Audella. He is bald and has a neatly-trimmed black beard.
- Retgar - Proprieter of The Flying Bed in Rothvale. Friendly to the party.
- Romena - A beautiful sorceress in Caernigan who works with magical rings. She is a friend of Gwenadain's and was referred to the party by her. Romena and K'ieron are engaged to be married.
- Samron - Blacksmith of Durvik's Pass. He is a big man with a bushy black beard, seems pretty friendly.
- Sandar Kathklan - Formerly a mage of Corlis. He was killed by Elmareen Whitestone in a mageduel. Rumored to have been involved in the dark arts and even shadier dealings, he seemed more a bookish, eccentric wizard when the party had any dealings with him. Shortly before he was killed he asked the party for aid. His death was arranged as part of a sinister plot by the evil cleric Damius.
- Sellusa - Healer of Pelor tending the shrine in Oakhurst. She is older and has mistaken Maedhros for another elf she used to know.
- Selvanna - A beautiful half-elven archmage whose tower is in an isolated mountain valley near Oakhurst. The party rescued Selvanna from her apprentice when he became controlled by an evil magic item. Selvanna and Peddeshar are lovers.
- Shatayalla - Elven ranger belonging to the Erecollewen, the elven equivalent of the Shield. Her accent and appearance betray her origins from woodlands far to the north of the Silver Valley.
- Silva Brightmane - A young priestess of Hieroneous that Rolan and Aramil escorted to the town of Thelox in the Fallen Lands in order to found a temple there.
- Silverleaf - A pixie the party befriended in Selvanna's sylvan valley. She is flighty and a practical joker, but has helped the party out in the past.
- Solom Ned'razak - The master of the Inverted Tower in Szith Morcane. Rumored to be a very powerful archmage drow wizard.
- Sshumath Daerindra - A drow half-dragon met in the Underdark near Szith Morcane. He provided much useful information in exchange for the story of the party's battles in Szith Morcane as well as some magical items.
- Stefan Doverspeak - Leader of the Dark Moon. The party learnt this through Peddeshar's divination magic, but has no idea who the man is.
- Tarrell - A Special Operative for the city guard of Caernigan. He seems to be a mage of some power. He has worked with the party on a couple of occasions, even saving Tarrin's life once.
- Telmarg - Maegar's brother. Captured by giants and rescued by the party.
- Thauna Markstar - The small high priestess of Hieroneous at the Arm of Valor in Corlis. She charged Peddeshar with the recovery of the Gauntlet of Arion, which he carried out successfully and now bears as a reward.
- Timmy - A street urchin the party adopted while in Caernigan. He acts as an errand and messenger boy for the adventurers.
- Tomas - Member of Tarrin's druidic circle near Thorsten's Climb.
- Tryphena - Unknown person, possibly from Karlon Keep, who had written instructions that Dalar was carrying.
- Ulaf Rocksplitter - An older dwarf that served as a guide to Selwyn and Tarrin as they travelled through dwarven tunnels under the northern Serpentcoil mountains.
- Vandric - The shipmage on the Morning Rose, a small sailing ship captained by Fiorina Gannilo that plies the Westing Reach. His fireballs helped Rolan and Aramil to overcome a swarm of boarders when a sea orc pirate vessel intercepted the Morning Rose.
- Veldin - Member of the Browncloaks, a wizard cabal in Rothvale. He has dealt fairly with the party in the past.
- Vurnor Leng - Mayor of Oakhurst, very grateful to party for clearing out the goblin bandits and twig blights that had been haunting the area.
- Yusdrayl - Leader of the kobolds in the Sunless Citadel.
