- Karlon Keep - A mighty city-state that guards Lurland from the barbarian and orc hordes of the Fallen Lands. It is a place of despair, ruled by the Jendalar, a tyrannical band of wizards and evil priests.
- Kellmore - Kellmore is a small city that lies in the center of rich farmland. Two local families of nobles constantly struggle for control.
- Madregoth - Madregoth is a medium-sized mining city. Iron and silver are mined and smelted here. The Irlingstar family runs the city in a tight, efficient manner.

- Talisdale - This small city mines iron, copper, and small amounts of gold from the Serpent hills. It is ruled by a town council, but real power is exerted by the fabulously wealthy Silmerhelve family.
- Tyrus - Tyrus is a large port city that is a haven for pirates and corsairs of all types. It is a wild, chaotic place ruled over by the Tessalar family and the large temple of Olidammara. Many mages call this port city home.
