Well of course the first thing to do is select your TC and hit the C key to create a villager. Then with the three villagers you already have, build 4 or 5 more TC's (for a total of 5 or 6). Once the foundations have all been laid down, send two of your civi's to build barracks. To do this, hit B two times (while you have your civi's selected), hold down the Shift key, and click-click-click around 30-50 times on a nice flat piece of land. Once you've done this, the second TC should be just about finished so hit the H key to take you to your TC's then create new villagers at both of your TC's. You should also have an idle civi outside your first TC, so use him to build a bunch of houses (same procedure as with your barracks, just hit B then E instead of B-B). Note that when you build your houses, it's a good idea usually to build them in between yourself and an ally; if you're in a corner, however (or your nearest ally just sucks), it may befit you to just build them near your town centers (be sure to leave farming room though).

Now your next two villagers should be complete, send them to help build your barracks, and put several towers around/in-between your barracks. By this time your first barracks should be complete, so head to it (ctrl-B) and upgrade to Long Swordsmen.

Now you should have a third TC finished as well as two more villagers (if not, you need to work on keeping a constant flow of villies). Create three more villagers, and use these two new civi's to build first a temple(B-P) then a barracks right by your TC's (again, leaving room for farms). Instantly after the temple is done, research Fanaticism there, which will allow you to upgrade your swordsmen to legions. After those two buildings are finished, build the following buildings (your research buildings), in this order:
      1) a granary (tower upgrades)
      2) a government center (ballistics, for ballista tower upgrade)
      3) a storage pit (legion attack upgrade)
      4) two markets (farm, tower, and gold-mining upgrades).

Keep an eye on your temple, and as soon as the fanaticism research is done, go to the extra barracks you built and upgrade to Legion. At this point you're pumping out lots of villagers (I usually stop around 30 or 40, less if I know it'll be an easy game), so just distribute them as you see fit. Send some to help with barracks and towers, send some to help with your research buildings, have one or two help to complete your houses, and have some start mining stone, or start farming (farming is more important of the two but you may need stone more at the current moment).

By the time your fifth/sixth TC is finished, so should be a great deal of your barracks. Now you start pumping legions (hit ctrl-B and click on the Legion icon), so create legions from each of your barracks, and once you have 30 or more (keep pumping though until you reach the population limit), go ahead and find an enemy. If you know they've towered up, best wait until there are around 60 legions available.

Anyhow, that's about all I know about Cho, the rest of the time I usually just wing it. Oh but there is just one more thing I think I want to say. Please believe me when i say that when you get attacked by a hoard of Persian ele's or something, you'll do a LOT better with a group of Hoplites than you will with legions. I know that sounds ridiculous but it's true. Anyway, you can figure out your own little strategy for the mid-late game. Just remember, even though Choson has the 2nd best defensive buildings in the game (1st is Babylon), it is an offensive civ, so keep forward-building and offensively-towering. Also remember to mine stone before you mine gold, and keep replanting your farms. Follow these instructions, and you should win, or at least have a gg (unless you get painted or something :P).

First start and make a villager at your existing TC, then make all of your villagers build more 6 or 7 (extra) TCs... Once the 1st villager's ready, build 1 barracks, so u can research LONG SWORDSMEN. Once the first TC's ready, make a villager at it (and on the old TC). As the TC's keep getting ready, keep making villagers. Use the next villager to make a Temple and the next one, a Storage Pit. Research fanaticism in the temple and metallurgy in the Storage Pit, then upgrade to Legion in the Barracks. Now all your TC's will be ready... now it's the time to choose which strategy you'll use... if the map does not have rivers OR if you're playing a 2v2 or 3v3, you should take the 1st one. If you're playing on a map with lots of rivers, the 2nd, and if you're playing a 1v1 match, the 3rd.

      1)    Get all your idle villagers (including the starting ones) and make them build A LOT of barracks ALL OVER the center of the map (at least 70 or 80). When your next group of villagers get ready, make them build a BUNCH of houses between u and your ally. The next group of villagers make a granary and a government center near your tc's, to research ballistics in the Gov't Center, and all the towers in the granary. Use these villagers and the next group of them to make LOTS of farms around your TC's, while keeping your barracks in the middle making Legions non-stop (u should be engaged in battle by now). Get the villagers that built the barracks in the middle and make barracks close to your other enemies (which should be fighting your allies by now, so you should see them). If you're not in a battle, make your Legions travel the map until you find an enemy, and make your Barracks there. Keep making Legions and sending them to attack (have no Legions idle). Use the next group of villagers no make a TC FAR from your other TC's (on an open AND SECURE area). Make them (and your villager(s) who built the houses) build lots of farms around that TC.... Make your next group of villagers chop wood, the next one mine gold, and the next (and probably the last group of them you'll have to make), make them mine stone. Use your villagers near the attack line to keep making more and more Barracks closer and closer to the enemy (by now you should have ballista towers too, so spread lots of it even closer to the enemy, right after your Barracks, in the middle of the action).... and remember, keep advancing....

      2)    Use the same strategy as above in relation of villagers, but instead of building the barracks right in the middle, make them on every reef u can find, and this time, make LOTS of towers on the reefs...and remember, keep advancing....

      3)    Same as 2nd, but this time, make a set of barracks and a set of towers around yourself, and have some idle Legions protecting u. find the enemy and make lots of barracks near him, and just keep advancing....

Note: ONLY MAKE HELES WHEN YOU'RE FACING ANOTHER CHO PLAYER (and when he's good).
