Quality Education is when you rear students who are academically
skilled and morally disciplined, able to use their skills and creativity
efficiently to find jobs, or better yet, create them. The current plan
of STEP is to rear students with enough capabilities, making them fully
equipped for the coming future.
With the proper abilities and skills balanced with the appropriate
attitude and morals, quality education is achieved.
The new basic education curriculum now aims to develop major skills in the student that will aid him in getting a job or creating jobs in the future. The restructured basic education curriculum gives more emphasis on subjects that would equip the student with sufficient skills and abilities for him to cope with the future that awaits him.
STEP is integrating with the Basic Education Curriculum of the DepEd in performing and achieving its goals and objectives. Through the TEPP or THE, these four skills being developed by STEP would be greatly enhanced.
The TEPP consisting of various livelihood subjects is needed in achieving the goals of the said organization. Through proper integration and the empowerment of the workforce to complement the innate creativity within the youth, the vision of STEP is not far from now.
If all of us, the private and the government sector, and various organizations in the country would cooperate to achieve this common goal, we're not far from achieving it. Through cooperation among the youth, the professional, and the old age groups, we can truly manifest what we can achieve. Just with the proper morals and the attitude, we know that success is just within our reach. A BETTER PHILIPPINES.
