SoundMachine Version
SoundMachine is a user friendly sound file player for common audio formats such as m-law (mu-law), AIFF and WAVE. It supports a simple interface and is well suited to Web browsers or as a stand-alone application. It has been accelerated for PowerPC and can be run on the 68K range of Macintoshes (it is a so-called Fat Binary). However, depending on the sound format being played the performance of SoundMachine is limited by the speed of the Macintosh. It is $10 Shareware; the enclosed "Register" application facilitates easy payment through Kagi Shareware.
ConvertMachine Version 1.1.1
ConvertMachine is mostly a batch processing utility to convert sound format files to a desired type. This means it performs one or more of the following without user interaction: decompression, resampling (sample rate conversion), mixing (stereo to mono) and compression. You don't need to worry about what format the input file is in; all you specify is the desired output format. Finder Sound files (sfil), AIFF files, WAVE files, Sound Designer II, AU Mu-law and linear and QuickTime Audio (Movies) can be freely converted. It is $10 Shareware; the enclosed "Register" application facilitates easy payment through Kagi Shareware.

Tools Plus was originally born in 1989 as a result of an R&D project whose aim was to deliver a specified application, and in doing so, create a set of powerful yet "easy to use" application development tools. The result of this effort was the first iteration of a set of application-building libraries -- code modules that were reusable, portable, and self-maintaining.
By 1992, after considerable prodding from various contractors and project managers, Steve Makohin and partner Steven Waters decided to bring their product to commercial readiness. A year later, Water's Edge Software was formalized to become the delivery vehicle for Tools Plus and to support its users. (The name "Water's Edge Software" was inspired by Makohin's lakeside condo were he lived until he threw himself, heart and pocketbook, into the company).
Water's Edge Software is owned and operated by a handful of brilliant Macintosh devotees who are doing what they love doing most: creating cool Mac stuff. They serve a community of developers that spans the globe throughout North America, South America, Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the countries of the Asia/Pacific region.
The people of Water's Edge Software are spread across multiple locations linked through voice/data lines and email. They are process aware and have a strong customer focus boasting world-class support throughout the world.

Tools Plus libraries + Framework:
Tools Plus libraries + Framework lets you easily create compact, fast running, professional looking applications and plug-ins.
Create virtually any part of your user interface with a single Tools Plus routine. Once created, Tools Plus libraries make elements work with each other without the need for additional support code. With only a few hundred routines, Tools Plus thins your code by tens of thousands of lines. You see results sooner.
Rated 2 stars by Macworld magazine. MacTech magazine said "...it's an incredibly rich collection of tools... If you are interested in developing applications that have 'quality' written all over them, then Tools Plus is for you."
SuperCDEFs:
SuperCDEFs world-class controls are the finishing touch for developers who want applications with a professional polish. They feature 7 buttons, 9 tabs, 11 sliders and a thermometer. Ranging from subtle to bold, these high-quality controls are customizable for a variety of looks and features. "Smart scaling" makes sliders look attractive even when their scale is compressed due to space constraints. SuperCDEFs come in 3D and flat variations. Each control comes in 680x0, PowerPC and Fat/Safe format.
For all model Macintosh (512KE or later), Power Macintosh, and Mac-OS compatibles running on System 6 or 7.x. No royalties.

I (David Sinclair) work full-time as a commercial programmer, working for a Macintosh-based medical software company. My Shareware is a hobby; in the past I have devoted a fair amount of time to it, but now that I'm married, I don't spend as much time working on Shareware. I've been programming on the Macintosh since 1988, with several years programming home computers before that. My Shareware company, Dejal Userware, has been operational since September 1991, with several Shareware and Freeware Products released, many of them appearing in numerous books, CD-ROMs, etc and available around the world. I program my Shareware in THINK Pascal, and the commercial product (MMAS: Macintosh Medical Administration System) in MPW Pascal. All major currencies or credit cards accepted for registration of Shareware Products, and the Dejal Register application can be used to aid in registering, securely encrypting the registration information. Mailing lists are available for news of new releases etc: e-mail for more information, or visit the Web site. If you'd like more information about me, you can check out my personal Web page, or e-mail me with any questions.

I started KlepHacks when I was a sophomore at Pittsford Sutherland High School. I wanted to write small Mac programs that did cool things and were so small that they'd run on my Powerbook 100. For several years, the only program I worked on was an extremely tiny (about 32k of RAM) text editor called Jot. Since then, KlepHacks has moved into Internet shareware. More information about KlepHacks and all of these programs is avaliable at the web site. I also have a mailing list for discussion of these programs and to announce new Products and beta testing opportunities. Information is available at here.
