We all need to help the Earth because the Earth can’t help itself. It is up to us to make the environment better. Afterall, it is us who destroyed its beauty. The hungry, the hurt, the sad - they can all ask for help. But the Earth cannot so we must take action.
We want a better world for future generations. But what good is this if the world they live in is unclean. You can make a difference. Pick up a piece of trash or turn off the water while brushing your teeth. It may seem as though these things are trivial compared to other problems, but NOT doing these things is what makes the other problems. If everyone did a little something it would in turn, help them. This way, we can help leave the Earth we found it, or better.
Let’s think for a minute. Does all this work take affect years from now, or is there something we can do to make the environment better now? Yes! Polluted air now doesn’t harm kids in the future. Nobody wants to drink foul water, or get cancer from a hair dryer. We need to take action now to stop the problems.
There are many ways to help our suffering environment. You can make a difference in how the world is 20 years from now, and 20 hours from now. Every little bit helps. If we all work, we can make a better world for ourselves now and for our children. Mother Earth will thank you for your kindness.

An easy way to help the environment is to follow these quick tips from Recycle City .
Buy only what you need. Rent, borrow, or share items that aren't used much. Sell or donate goods instead of throwing them out. Buy products that use little or no packaging. Buy one general housecleaner rather than a variety of products for different purposes. Ever consider solar power? Much better for the environment In the summer, line dry clothes. Make sure the house is insulated to reduce the need for energy and to conserve heat. To save paper, call companies to tell them you don't want any junk mail. Have lots of garage sales. That way, you reuse old stuff, and make some money. Use plastic bags (say, from the grocery) and use them for trash bags for small trashcans. Always use the back side of the paper! Don't forget to make a scratch paper pile, they're very handy. Coffee cans make great drums and storage containers! Newspapers make really cool wrapping paper (try the funnies). Make a quick composite bin in the backyard out of discarded wood. Put in grass clippings, egg shells, and other organic foods. In time, it makes great fertilizer. Use a bike to get form here to there,it'll keep ya healthy! Donate to a local shelter, instead of tossing it. Check out books from the library instead of buying. YOu sve money and the books can be used over and over. Be creative! Take something used and make it into art! One man's junk is another man's treasure! |
