KENTH FUCANAN
This
is my mahal Kenth Fucanan. We have been together for twenty-one months and
with the Lord's guidance we will be together forever.
ABOUT
HIM
Well,
he was born in Bohol, a province in the Philippines, on December
7, 1975, the second of four kids. Life for him as a child was full of
play and fun -- riding his bike, swimming, snorkeling, all sorts of
adventurous thrills that got him into his share of scrapes and cuts.
His family wasn't well off but they provided him with lots of love
and affection.
He
migrated here to Philadelphia in 1994, along with his whole family.
It was a big adjustment for him, being forced into new surroundings
and new culture. But his
resourcefulness came through and he found work at a computer store,
first as a trainee and, since he was a fast learner, a technician not
too long afterwards. Currently he also goes to school, taking
courses for Network Administration.
WHY I
LOVE HIM
He
always asks me the same question, and I always tell him that it's
because he loves me and he's got all the qualities every woman wants
from her man. Honesty, kindness, sincerity, fidelity, sense of
humor... he's also hardworking, understanding, respectful.... I can
go on and on, but I'm sure you get the idea.
It's
enough for me to say that he is God's gift to me. We were both born
in the Philippines but we had to meet here, at the time in our lives
when we were both ready to fall in love. The second time for him and
the first for me. It's been quite a ride, with me providing all the
fire (as in fights) and him patiently weathering the storms, being
there after I calm down. I only hope that God gave him to me for keeps for there is no way that I am giving him up!!
