The Shadow's Journey

I walk through life,
Veiled in the shadows of my existence,
Each shadow, the image of a self;
Too afraid to exist,
Too real to disappear.

Each step in life brings a crisis to the shadows.
Knowing they must go on,
Yet fearing what lays ahead;
And saddened by what follows behind.

Each step creating it's own shadow.
Each new shadow learning from those behind.
Desperate to become real,
Terrified of reality.

And so the shadows step back.
One-by-one,
Making room for the new,
Those who have failed,
Those who chose to survive,
And the journey continues.

The Endless Search
The Emptiness

I Was Meant For The Darkness
