So, you want to know all about Göran...(?)

Since I'm not dead yet, I haven't been able to complete this page. Sorry! ;-)

I was born in the autumn of -65 (or at least, so they say...)
I grew up in a small town where nothing happened and since I wasn't aware of any alternatives, I was happy!

Anyway, at the age of 20, I went to a slightly bigger town called Linköping, Sweden to learn more about computers and programming.
I stayed there for a little more than four years. By then, I thought I knew enough to get a job.
I moved to the Swedish capital Stockholm and started to work as a C-programmer.

C and OS/2 - a great combination and I was very happy with my job. I found a beautiful, but small, apartment by a lake.
I bought myself an old boat which needed 3(!) pumps to stay afloat. Despite that, I loved (and sometimes hated) that boat.

In -93 they decided that we shouldn't continue with the project which I was involved in.
But, since another company wanted me, I started to work for them as a consultant. This job meant that I was helping different companies with their programming problems. Always different programming languages, operating systems, databases and questions. Great, but sometimes a little confusing.

Since I suddenly found myself more or less stuck in a 'traditional' life, I realized that I needed more freedom. That's when I bought myself a motorcycle. A Kawasaki GPz 550 from -82. OK, it was an old one. But, the feeling!

I was hooked, and I was free!

The summer of -95 was absolutely great in the Stockholm area. Once again, I felt that it was necessary to have a boat. I got myself a Storebro from -56 and worked with it during the entire summer.
When I finally got it in shape, the summer was gone!

Spring -96, the sun started to shine and I just had to get my bike out on the streets.
Suddenly I was looking for a bigger bike, a bike suitable for long distances...
After a while, I found it. A Honda CBR 1000F from -92. What a feeling, what a difference compared to my old GPz!!! So I sold my old bike and bought the Honda...

In the middle of the summer of -96 I found Rapido on the internet.
Since their site was so 'nice' I decided to check them out in real life.
A nice bunch of people with a true interest in motorcycles.
The best thing I did that summer was to join the club!!!

Toward the end of the summer of -97 I left my old job and joined Enterprise Systems.
A much smaller company with a great spirit, it really brought back the fun part of working!!!

I bought myself a small house in September -98 since I was sick and tired of my old neighbours...! The neighbours to my left used to fight, scream and make a mess (I hated that!) while the neighbours to my right used make love really loud throughout the nights. Rather frustrating...
Now, I'm free to do whatever I want! I love the quietness even though it sometimes means that I oversleep... :-)
