A medium sized modern image layout was required by the club and Fylde North is the result. It has been built using the skills of members from various different sections of the club.

The period modelled is from 1995 onwards. The location is the Fylde coast somewhere between Blackpool and Fleetwood. There is a terminal station and a small EWS fuelling and servicing depot. Nearby docks are served by different companies whose locomotives can be seen on the depot.

The passenger trains are mainly DMUs, serving many parts of the UK, but there are also 'Club trains' to Manchester and Liverpool as well as a Virgin cross country service. Parcels traffic also features as well as an oil train serving the EWS fuelling depot.

All stock is propietary but with added detail.
