The Bit At The End
That's all I can think of.
This page was brought to you in association with Notepad, csscreator.com and GeoCities/Yahoo's fine online HTML File Manager/editor. Helping me get started in this HTML coding malarkey was The Complete Idiot's Guide To Creating An HTML Web Page by Paul McFedries [published by Qué ISBN 0-7897-0722-5], which I'd wholeheartedly recommend to anyone thinking of having a go at this, like I have. He's got an online d.i.y. HTML forum, which is well worth a look.
Also deserving of credit is HTML In Easy Steps by Andy Holyer.
Just room to mention a few mates: Hi to Simon, Michelle & Elizabeth in La-La Land, Rob & the boys, Ian B plus the terrible trio, Tony, Jon at Jupiter and big bro' Steve. Honourable mention goes to Justin for the upgrades and also to Nathan at DP Systems for helping revive my old PC when it invariably fails, plus Andy at Aden Media for never complaining that I rarely actually buy anything from him.
Just for reference, this was started in Notepad on an ancient 16-bit IBM PS/2 386 running Windows 3.1 at a dizzying 16Mhz (remember when that was state-of-the-art?!), so don't let anyone tell you you need high-end gear and expensive software to build a web page. It just isn't true.
In closing, here's something I read once on the back of a box of
matches:
"Keep dry and away from children."
Two suggestions I try to follow daily...
À bientôt!
