This is my real home. Full of animals. In here you will
find photo's of Cats, Dogs, Guinea Pigs, Conures, a Rat,
a Rabbit and a Snow Shoe Hare. I just bought a little baby
Green Cheek Conure on February 27, 1999.
Crockett my Greater Golden-Crowned Conure
is over 20 years old.Crockett is named after
Davy Crockett and he is a male conure.
Little Green Cheeks name is Freckles the name
seems to suit her. Felix is a little guinea pig I got from
a pet shop, he had been injured and his owner brought
him to the pet shop to be destroyed. Calamity is
named after Calamity Jane and Felix missed the boat
when it came to western stars. He was cleaning him
self so much that he got named after Felix from the
Odd Couple T.V show.
Sebastian passed away June 22, 1998 and I have set up
a page for Sebastian. Sebastian was also called Sam.
July 17, 1999.
Today I have a new little pet. Mango a Black Headed
Caique. He is four months old and the most wonderfull
little parrot and a lot of fun.
January 2001:
Have two wonderful hairless Chinese Crested Dogs.
October 2001.
Have another new pet, Trixie. she is a beautiful
Black Lory Parrot. She will be 2 years old on
May 19th, 2002.
August 31, 2003 Update:
On August 31, 2002 just before 5 AM I lost my little girl Trixie.
She died in an emergency clinic. Somewhere along the line
Trixie had swallowed some rope. It moved down and blocked
her stomach. She had laid an egg on Aug. 28 and on the 29th and
up until around 9:30 Pm on the 30th she was okay. Somewhere in
between her laying the egg Wednesday night and Friday evening
the rope moved down from her throat. The rope had been lodged
in her throat for a very long time. I never knew why I couldn't get
my little Black Lory to eat but found out when she died that the
rope was preventing her from eating.
A full year as gone by now and I still miss my little girl. She was
full of love and joy. She spread joy all around her.
September 4, 2003 Update
On Sept. 7, 2002 my email friend Angela was worried about the
way I was dealing with losing Trixie. She knew I had wanted a
Hawkheaded Parrot for many years so she searched the net until she
found one in Winnipeg, Canada that was for sale.
Angela sent me a photo of him. I was still very upset about Trixie, I still am
a year later but that photo stayed open on my computer for almost a month.
The only time I smiled was when I looked at his photo. His breeder had named
him Hercules, a very fitting name for him. He's a very large Hawkhead.

A week later I decided to buy Hercules. I was still very upset about losing
Trixie and delayed going to Winnipeg to get him. I didn't think it was fair
to bring him home when I was feeling so low. I wouldn't let him fly cargo.
So On Friday October 4, 2002 Harvey and I flew to Winnipeg to bring
Hercules home with us. We brought him to Toronto on Oct. 6, 2002. He
was a very good boy on WestJet and stayed very quiet traveling on the
airplane under the seat in front of us.
Looking at this picture of Hercules in the link above really helped me get
through the first month after losing Trixie. He is still helping me with that.
Trixie had become part of my heart and soul and she always will be.
Someday I will make a page for Hercules. Since Trixie passed away
I have not been able to do much about changing any of my pages.
I was working on a lot of graphics for Trixie's page at the time that
I lost her. I have also lost Casey and Cuddles guinea pigs in the last year.
Cuddles I lost during the big Blackout in August 2003. Casey I lost last
year in June. It's not been a good year with me and my pets. I almost
lost my dog Torah this summer. She fell down the deck steps and discolated
her hip but she's recoverd very well. She's walking better than she has in
the last two years. Torah was 15 years old the 29th of August 2003.
