Fredericksburg---------------

I'm sitting at home Friday evening, trying to watch Gettysburg when all of a sudden three soldiers bang on my door. After just getting back from the field the previous weekend, I was conscripted (with small baseball bats) back into the army by Captain Stowe, Major Snyder, and Private Stowe. I hardly had time to protest when they bellowed out, "pack your sh!@# and lets go!" It would not be long before I would get my revenge for being dragged back into the army. Half way to Fredericksburg nature called. This was one of those times when it was coming, whether I wanted it to or not! Lester pulled to the side of the road, I grabbed some wet ones, jumped over the guard rail, and ran into the night to clean my system! There would be no straining this time, just squat down and splat!

After a search party had been sent after me, I finally made it back to the truck. We were on our way once more. After driving about 2-3 miles, a foul odor reached our nostrils. Ryan proclaimed, "it smells like crap in here!" I turned on the light and to my dismay my pants and shoes were stained with some strange substance that smelled like crap! Could it be? Oh yes! I pulled out the wet wipes again and tried my best to cleanse my pants and shoes of this foul odor. This experience gave me a nickname that I will never live down, Sgt. Sh!@ ass! I also heard rumors that on the way there Josh and Starlett were driving on the wrong side of the road! I kinda forgot the details, but ask them and they will be glad to fill you in.

We finally got to Fredericksburg Friday night. Josh's room seemed to be the place to be for the weekend as we all crashed his place to talk, joke, and just share a little time together. Saturday's battle was a first for a few of us. We fought in the streets, which is something me and Lester had never experienced. It was also the first time Ryan saw the elephant. After the battle we ate, shopped, looked, etc......the usual thing at Fredericksburg.

Sunday we stopped at the local Cracker Barrel to eat breakfast at 1 in the afternoon. It was the best food and service we had the whole weekend. We didn't know until after we came out that Cpl. Brooks took it upon himself to pay for Lester's meal. That was a cool thing to do. Maybe it will bring him back out next year! Lets hope so. After that huge breakfast, we all dispersed and went our separate ways. We returned home late in the evening to tell of another great time at Fredericksburg.
