be able to capture, bring on land the
Captain or skipper, as also the chief mer-
chants, or any of the other Officers: as
if he had found the captured vessels floa-
ting about without crew or anyone aboard.
Though if afterwards should be determined
that the aforementioned Officers, were 
chased out of these vessels, or having been 
put on land somewhere else: in such cases,
the Officers and the aforesaid Captain will 
be, without arbitration, or according to 
the situation it may be found, be sentenced
to death without possibility of reprieve.
About everything of which he may be guilty 
he is ordered to give an proper oath on its 
veracity, to the Respective Boards of Admi-
ralty ; which have been authorized accor-
dingly.
   Requesting the following of all Kings, 
Potentates, Republics, and all other per-
sons, of whatever state, dignity, Office 
and Condition in which they may be, to 
regard the aforementioned ................
