The Paradise Page

Lee Horsley was born in Muleshoe, Texas on May 15, 1955. His first performance experience was singing in his church choir as a youngster.  The vocal talents he developed there eventually lead him to tour in musical stage productions and launched his acting career.

His television career began with the role of detective Archie Goodwin in the 1981 series Nero Wolfe, opposite William Conrad.  Next came the role some would say is his signature role -- that of Texas detective Matt Houston from the series of the same name, which aired from 1982 to 1985.  Obviously, I beg to differ.  I think his best, if not his best known, work is Paradise.   Lee also stared in the TV Series Bodies of Evidence in 1992, Hawkeye in 1994 and Wind on Water in 1998 as well as a recurring guest role in Snowy River: The McGregor Saga.

His first feature film was the 1982 fantasy film Sword and the Sorcerer, in which he played the swashbuckling rogue of a hero, Prince Talon.  (now available on DVD)  Since then, he has appeared in numerous feature length productions including, North and South Book II, Danielle Steel's Palomino, Infidelity and the mini-series Danielle Steel's Crossings.
